Summary
Zenless Zone Zerohas been lauded for being cute. Great character designs, lots of cats, and dozens of weird creatures populate the world of New Eridu. However, while you may think thatit would be the kitties, nothing has stolen the hearts of players more than the Bangboo.
Bangboo are little mechanical critterswith big bunny ears and a screen for a face, which perfectly creates expressive eyes. Initially designed to help humans evacuate the city during disasters, the Bangboo have now been adapted for everyday tasks.

While typically seen as cutesy, one Bangboo has been causing quite the stir on social media, as players discovered just how theBangvolverreloads its weapon.
“100% waste-free, the most eco-friendly Bangboo ever”
Avideodoing the rounds on the official Zenless Zone ZeroSubredditsees the Bangvolver blasting an enemy with itsNerf Gun-likehead before seemingly pooping out the ammunition shell. If that wasn’t bad enough, though, the Bangboo then kneels down towards the excreted, smoking shell and appears to chow down on it, leading players to believe that this is how it reloads that head.
The actions of the Bangvolver have led to mixed reactions from the Zenless Zone Zero community.
One contingent feels this adds to the charm and mystique of the creatures, with one going as far as saying “Bangboos are truly the best part of ZZZ.”
Others exclaimed that this was “Cursed knowledge” and something that they “didn’t need to know”, although they’re “glad” they found it out.
Arguably, the overriding feeling of the community is that, actually, these are just good eggs doing their part for the planet. One user quoted the advertising slogan “Reduce. Reuse. Recycle” in response to the video, while another confirmed this sentiment, saying, “I mean, it’s just recycling.”
The final group of commenters compared the Bangvolver to its rabbit inspirations, stating that the Bangboo, like bunnies, may eat their own poop.
