The OutlawsSeries Xhas a grey camo-style design with the name of the game printed on it in neon blue. It’s the latest of many special edition consoles Xbox has created and given away for free rather than mass producing and selling, but there is a silver lining this time. While only one person will be getting the Outlaws Series X, there are five prizes up for grabs in this particularStar Warscontest.
The contest has already begun and all you need to do to enter isfollow Xbox UK on Twitterand retweet the competition post you’re able to find below. Yes, even though there are more prizes than just the console up for grabs this time, there is a catch, and it’s a big one. This contest is only open to residents of the UK. Bad news for anyone reading this who doesn’t live in the UK, but good news if you do as that combined with the bigger prize pool has significantly upped your odds of winning something compared to prior Xbox contests.
Xbox Ireland also appears to be running the same contest, so even if you don’t live in the UK (or Ireland) it’s worth checking your part of the world’s Xbox social media accounts to see if you’re able to be in with a chance of winning a Nix plush.
There’s just one Star Wars Outlaws Series X to give away and that will go to the contest’s grand prize winner. The grand prize also includes a matching controller - which appears to come with a controller holder designed to look like a speeder- an Outlaws sweatshirt, and best of all, even better than the console if you ask me, a Nix plush. For those unfamiliar with the Outlaws cast, Nix is the little critter that accompanies lead character Kay Vess and aids her in her quest. The winner will also get a copy of Outlaws.
Sure, The Console’s Nice, But It’s All About Nix
The Nix plush mentioned above isn’t one of a kind, and Xbox has two more to give away. The runners-up in this contest will get Nix plushes along with copies of Star Wars Outlaws, and then two more runners-up will get a copy each of Outlaws. Even though the promotional period for this contest runs until July 22, 2025, if you want to be in the runners-up draw you will need to enter by August 30 as that’s when the winners will be drawn. If you’re reading this after August 30 it’s not too late to enter as the grand prize draw won’t be made until September 2.
Xbox has given away a lot of consoles and controllers so far in 2024 with many crying out for certain designs to get a wider release.The X-Men ‘97 controllerswere a particular favorite, and I imagine a fair few of you would have also liked to have gotten your hands onthe Deadpool and Wolverine bum controllersthat Xbox gave away to promote the latest installment in the MCU.
