Of course, despite calls asking otherwise, this was always likely going to be the end scenario. After all, if the cheeks are permanently molded into the controller, just how would one change the batteries? Perhaps if this was a Dualsense controller, which doesn’t have swappable batteries, the butt cheeks would be a permanent feature. Alas, that isn’t the case.
Oh, and if you were wondering if the cheeks were squishy, then we have an answer for that as well. Nope.
Still, it’s a wildly cool concept, and whoever does ultimately win the contest will have claim to the viral “butt cheeks” controller. And, at the very least, whoever does win can take the cheeks of Deadpool with them wherever they go. Not a bad consolation prize.
