Xboxis back with another sweepstake, this time to celebrate the upcoming release of Deadpool & Wolverine. As usual, the sweepstake includes a one-of-a-kindSeries X, but it’s the controllers that come with it that have caught the eye this time, and not for the reasons you might think. While most good-looking controllers are praised for what’s on the front, it’s the back of these particular Xbox controllers that will catch the eye.
In a blog postdetailing the sweepstake’s rules and everything that’s up for grabs, Xbox claims that Deadpool himself was responsible for designing the controller. That explains why a replica of the anti-hero’s backside is on the rear of them. That’s right, these controllers are different than any to have come before them as when you’re using them, you will be gently cupping a miniature recreation of Deadpool’s bottom while you game.
The controllers have been designed to look like they are covered in the same material Deadpool’s super suit is made of, and while they look fantastic, I’m unsure how comfortable they’ll be to hold. Whether the butt on the back is hard or soft will dictate that - there’s a sentence I never thought I’d write. There are two of the controllers included in the sweepstake bundle and they will not be sold separately, meaning only one person will ever have the chance to own an officially licensed video game accessory with Deadpool’s bum lovingly sculpted into the back of it.

The controllers are just one, albeit very ample, part of this latest Xbox giveaway. The Series X console they come with has been designed to match the controllers. Just in that it has been made to look like it’s also a part of Deadpool’s red and black suit, it doesn’t have a bum on the back, at least I don’t think it does. The console does come with a stand designed to look like Deadpool’s katanas, though. Made out of foam, plus they form the shape of an X which is rather fitting.
To be in with a chance of being the only person on the planet to own a Deadpool Series X with matching arse controllers, you will need to follow Xbox on Twitter and share the post announcing the sweepstake before July 10, 2025. Xbox is offering up another chance to win some Deadpool-themed gaming merch - a controller holder. It has 1,000 of them to give away, and they will go to the first people to buy an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core on July 31, 2025.
