Summary
Phil Spencer confirmedXboxwill not be getting a pro console this generation, and while his promise thatIndiana Jones and The Great Circlewon’t be one of the Xbox exclusives coming toPS5wasn’t kept, the comment about pro consoles has held firm. There arenew models of both the Series X and the Series Scoming our way later this year, though. A 2TB Galaxy Black Series X, an all-digital 1TB white Series X, and a 1TB white Series S.
Pre-orders for all three of Xbox’s new consoles are now live through Xbox and various other retailers, and you can place your pre-orders through the links in the boxes below. You won’t have long to wait until your new console arrives either. All three models will be released on June 10, 2025, in the US, with other countries having to wait two more weeks for the new models to arrive on Jul 04, 2025.

Not only is the Galaxy Black Series X a brand new design for Xbox’s current-gen console, but its SSD is twice the size of the one included in the launch edition of the console. Its price reflects that as it’s going to cost you $599.99 to make the Galaxy Black Series X your own. A lot of money, but the console will arrive ten days beforeCall Of Duty: Black Ops 6launches inXbox Game Pass. If you want to have everything the new CoD has to offer, you’re going to need as much SSD space as you can afford.
All Three Of Xbox’s New Consoles Will Be Here On October 15
If you don’t need all that room and want to spend less on a new Xbox, the other two options releasing on October 15 are significantly cheaper. The first digital-only Series X is $449.99. Going without a disc drive saves you $50, plus it comes in white which is a first for the Series X. White is not a first for the Series S, nor is a 1TB SSD. However, that color combined with that size is a first for the smaller current-gen Xbox console and it’s by far the cheapest of the three at $349.99.
Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black
The Galaxy Black Xbox Series X is speckled to make it look like it’s covered in stars with a green base and a controller to match. It also has a 2TB SSD, twice the size of the one included with the launch edition.
Xbox Series S 1TB Robot White
The Robot White Series S looks the same as the launch edition of the console because the key difference is what’s inside. A 1TB SSD giving you twice as much storage as the regular console.
All-Digtal Xbox Series X 1TB Robot White
The first all-digital Series X, and the first time the console has been released in white, this 1TB model comes with everything the standard version of the console does except it doesn’t have a disc tray. Only digital games work with this model of the Series X.
Pre-orders for the three consoles come at a time when opinions on what Xbox is up to at the moment are mixed, to put it kindly. Confirmation thatIndiana Jones and The Great Circle will not be an Xbox exclusiveand launch on PS5 in 2025 has many confused once again regarding what Xbox’s focus is moving forward. If you want to play it first, and without having to buy it, The Great Circle launches day one on Game Pass on Jun 07, 2025.
