While playingGenshin Impact, you’ll spend quite a significant amount of time running around the map and hunting for some specific regional specialties. This is especially true when a new region gets released since you have to farm these specialties for the first few characters from the region as fast as possible.
Sprayfeather Gill is one of the regional specialties released alongside Natlan in the Version 5.0 update, and you’ll need to farm them if you’replanning to get Mualani, and there might also be other characters that require them with time.
How To Get Sprayfeather Gills
As mentioned above, Sprayfeather Gill is a Natlan-specific item, which means that you’ll first have toarrive at this region and unlock some Statues of the Seven. To get this item, you’d want to head over to the Ameyalco Waters Statue, which is also roughly the place where you’ll start finding them.
Sprayfeather Gills are found near the river going through this part of Natlan, and the best way to farm them is by starting at theToyac Springs teleport waypoint at the top part of this river. Once you’re there, head straight to the east until you see the water and then follow this water all the way down while collecting every item you see.
Ideally, you’d want to haveMualani or Kachina in your party to farm these itemssince they can reveal nearby regional specialties.
You can usually find these in groups of two or three scattered in this area. Moreover, there’s a specific chest right above where you see Ameyalco written on the map,which gives you quite a few Sprayfeather Gills, though it’s only a one-time use. You can also click on Sprayfeather Gills in your inventory and mark some of their locations on the map.
Keep in mind that this item takes 48 hours to respawn once you claim it, but you cango into other players' worldsand get them there if they still have themavailable.
