InDisney Dreamlight Valley, there are plenty of things to celebrate! Every villager is happy to see you and wants your help. Mushu is a proud member of the community and he wants to share his joy with others. You’ll help him, of course, because that’s what a good ruler does.
From inviting the guests to participating in the festivities, you’ll get to know more about Mushu and Mulan’s culture, as well as unite the community through fun and games. Here’s everything you need to know to help Mushu’s party become a roaring success for everyone in Disney Dreamlight Valley!
How To Unlock The Guardian Party Friendship Quest
To unlock this quest, you’ll need toreach friendship level seven with Mushu. You’ll also need to haveunlocked the Sunlit Plateau, Simba, and Mirabel. You’ll also need to have progressed far enough with Scar tounlock the Vitalys Mines.
Speak with Mushuonce you’re ready to start the quest. He wants tothrow a party, and he knows the perfect venue.Follow him to the Vitalys Minesand discuss preparations for the party. You’llneed to give invitationsto the following villagers:
Once the invitations have been handed out, it’stime to decoratethe area.Talk to Mushuabout his plans. You’ll need to gather materials tocraft Modular Dragon Decorations. Gather the following materials:
Head to your Crafting Stationand put it all together to make two Modular Dragon Heads, two Modular Dragon Tails, and three Modular Dragon Body pieces. Use them to decorate your village thenreturn to the Vitalys Mines. The Guardian Party is ready to begin!
How To Get The Party Started
To get the party started,talk to Mushu. He’ll let you do the honor ofringing the gong. The quest thenbranches off into three mini questsfor different festivities. You cando these in any orderyou please!
If you’re feeling festive, you candress in red and gold!
The Red Pouch Hunt
The first event involvesfinding seven red poucheson the ground in the mines. They are easy to miss, but we’ll help you find them. The first is on the grounddirectly behind the gong. From there,follow the trail through the minesand keep your eyes on the floor.
None of the red pouches will be found off the main path, so don’t worry about covering the entire mine on foot.
When you get close,the red pouches will sparkle. Keep going until you circle back to the party. You canopen your red pouchesat any time to get your rewards and wrap up this event.
Cooking Sesame Balls
The next event involvescooking a recipe Mushu gives you! Sesame Balls aren’t too hard to make, and you’ll need the following ingredients:
Use the stove in the minesto mix everything together to get the perfect plate of Sesame Balls.Bring them to Mushuto evaluate. He’ll letyou keep them, but the event will be complete.
Mushu’s Piñata Extravaganza
The last event involvesfinding three piñatasin the Vitalys Mines. These can be foundin the back of the mine, across from the room found in Simba’sSeeds of Memories quest.
Use your Royal Pickaxeto break them andcollect at least ten pieces of candy. There will be more, so feel free to take it all. Once you’re done, return to Mushu.
After all three events are finished,recap the party with Mushu and take a pictureof him at the celebration.Talk with him one more timeto conclude the quest, wrap up the party, andearn additional friendshipwith the little dragon.
