As you explore the Highlands inFarewell North, you’ll come across dozens of collectibles and sights to see. One of the most important ones is the song recorded in your journal. The verses are missing, and you’ll need to find all eight to remember your mother’s favorite song about home to reconnect to your roots.

Thankfully, there are only eight music notes around the islands for you to find. You can only find them while in your canoe, so get ready to paddle around the choppy waves. Here’s everything you need to know to find every last lyric in Farewell North!

Since all the music notes are located on the water, we’ve catagorized them based on the islands you’ll find them closest to!

Sealladh Music Note

You can’t miss the first music note, asit’s inside the tunnel leading to open watersaround Orkney. Once youcomplete the Sealladh islandpuzzles, you can take the canoe through the tunnel andunlock the first verseof the song.

Cailey will remember one verse at a time, andeach music note will reveal another linein the journal.

Teaghlach Music Notes

As the second main island you’ll visit, you’lllearn a lot about the pasthere and what life was like in the Highlands. It only makes sense thatnearly half of the music notes can be foundin this area.

Here’s where you can find them:

Eday Skerry Music Note

Make your way to Eday Skerry, where you’ll have to do a bit of work to reach the music note. Whileall notes are reached by canoe, this one is blocked off. Tie off at the docks, thenhead along the leftuntil you see one of the fallen tree windows.

Here, you’ll want tolook through the tree window to clear the rocks, then pass through andreturn to your canoe. From there, you canpaddle back to the now cleared areaand pass through tocollect your music note.

Uair Music Notes

From Uair, there are a couple notes to collect.These are well hidden, so keep your eyes open when paddling along the water nearby.

Soraidh Note

There’sone music noteup along thefrosty shores of Soraidh. You’ll need to head deep into the snowy areas to find the note on the water, but itwon’t be far off from the docks by the giant wallwith the watchtower.

You’ll find the notebetween two smaller isletsthat you can’t dock on. With that, you’vecollected all the music notesand completed the song, havingall the verses now recorded in your journal!
