Side quests are a given in most games. You need to engage with the world and the characters within it, and sometimes a good side quest is the best means of doing that.Visions of Manahas plenty of side quests, maybe too many, but they definitely force you to interact with its many characters.

For all the side quests within the game that may be a drudge, some are real highlights. One such quest is Grist To The Mill. engaging you with traveling the world and actually have to think for yourself, rather than guiding you right to the end. How To Find The Grist To The Mill Quest

While it might not be the most expected place for you to go to,the Grist to the Mill quest is picked up in Mt. Gala, the only quest that is started in this location in the entire game. You can find itnear the entrance to Lefeya Driftsright by the massive old windmill.

Once started, the Windmill Maker Oroshi, along with his apprentices, will ask you to retrieve some rare materials to repair this ancient windmill,Crimsonite and Azurite. Oroshi does not, however, actually know where to find these materials. That’s in your hands.

Completing Rubinus Ex Machina

The Rubinus Ex Machina quest can be picked upright outside the entrance to Dorpher Volcanoin the Charred Passage. This can only be picked up once you have defeated the four previous Benevodons in Chapter Seven. Berzer speaks of a gathering of Guardians within the volcano and asks you to deal with them.

The quest itself is quite simple. You go to the marked location, defeat the Guardians, and pick up the Red Ore they drop. Once you present it to Berzer, he reveals that it is the rareCrimsoniteand asks that you keep it as a reward.You also get 7,520 Lucre, as a little bonus.

Completing Lapis Ex Machina

Like Rubinus Ex Machina,Lapis Ex Machina is also found in Chapter Sevenand rewards you with the required material. This quest is picked upfrom a child near the southern gate of Etaern. You mustfirst defeat the Benevodon of the Moon, Tor Marne in Castle Cresceno before this quest becomes available.

This child, Paeil, asks you to enter Castle Cresceno to defeat the Guardians within. They’re protecting a precious treasure so he’s heard, and wants it for himself. Go to Castle Cresceno todefeat these Guardians and pick up the Blue Ore that they dropafter they’re defeated.

Returning to Paeil, he’ll be disappointed that it’s only a shiny rock and not some cool treasure and tells you to keep it instead. This Blue Ore just so happens to bethe Azurite you needed. You also get5,270 Lucre as a reward. This child has surprisingly deep pockets.

Rewards For Completing Grist To The Mill

With the Azurite and Crimsonite both in hand,you’re able to return to the dedicated Windmill Maker Oroshiand his apprentices and present him with his coveted repair materials.
