As a survival game, you’ll be crafting all sorts of armor, weapons, and tools inCore Keeper, so you’ll need a variety of materials to make things as you progress. One of these many materials is Wool, and it’s needed to make a handful of early and mid-game armor pieces, among other things.

You can’t just find Wool lying around in crates though. It’s only a chance to get some from random chests, and it’ll be a while before you find any armor that you can salvage some from. If you want to start getting Wool early, you’ll need some Bambucks around.

How To Find Bambucks

To get Wool, you’ll first need tolocate Bambucks specifically, a passive mob that has achance to spawn in any Meadow biome, and resembles ahairy, horned goat with orange fur.

You can find the Meadow easily bylooking for its bright yellow grass, as it’s one of the brightest natural biomes and can be seen without torches if you get close enough.

Bambucks canspawn alongside Moolinin the Meadow biome, but it can bedangerous to leave themthere unless you block the area, ashostile mobs like Slimes will attackany Bambucks or Moolin near them if theyget into the Meadow.

To make iteasier and safer to get Woolconsistently, you canuse a Leash to move the Bambucksto your base andput them in a building or pen.

If you don’t have a Leash, you can alsohold any crop in your hand, andthey’ll follow youas long as you stay within their range while holding it.

How To Get Wool

Youcan’t shear wool offyour cattle with a tool: you’llneed to feed your cattletoget it. Bambucks caneat any plantable crop, andfeeding them any twowill make themstart producing Wool.

To feed them, approach the Bambuckwith any crop in your hand, such asMushrooms or Heart Berries, then stand there andlet them eat itfrom your hand.

Moolins eat the same crops as the Bambucks, so if you have both in one pen, theMoolins may unintentionally eat the cropsyou’re trying to feed the Bambucks.

Once they’ve eaten enough, it willtake ten real-world minutesfor them toproduce the Wool, and youcan pick it up from the groundwherever you’ve left them.

They’llcontinue to produce Woolevery ten minutesuntil they become hungry, then they’ll need to be fed again to keep up production.
