Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrailis finally upon us, bringing with it many new and stunning areas to explore to our heart’s content, meaning we will - of course - be rounding up Aether Currents in each region to unlock the ability to take to the skies on our Mounts to make traversal much easier and quicker, making FATEs easier to access and side-quests feel less of a chore to do.
This brings us to the Heritage Found, the penultimate location of the Dawntrail expansion. It gives us lots of ground to explore, making the Aether Currents that much more of a slog to track down and claim. At least the area is gorgeous, right?
Heritage Found Aether Current Locations
As expected, there are15 Aether Currentsin theHeritage Foundregion.Ten will be found by exploringthe area, while theremaining five will be rewarded for completing specific quests.You will be able togather all ten open-field Aether Currents from the moment you enterthe Heritage Found, but youwill not get the last quest-basedone until youclearthe Level 99 Main Scenario Quest ‘Unto the Summit.’

From the Thunderyards landmark, head northwest across the large overpass, then head north from there to reach this Aether Current.

Head to where the large train tracks end north of the Yyasulani Station Aether Crystal and look on top of the elevated rocks at the base of the tracks.

Inside of the Earthen Sky caves just north of the Electric Potential landmark.

Head north from The Outskirts Aether Crystal, then head west across the bridge. Follow this pathway to find the Aether Current.

Head southeast from the previous Aether Current, then up a steep slope to find this one.
