Some of the materials that you’re able to use for crafting can be found by disassembling items you find around the world. Other materials can be provided by nature, such as food from animals and minerals from rocks. One type of material that is essential isIron Ore.
How To Get Iron Ore
Iron ore is not easy to come by early on in Once Human. Similar toCopper Ore, you’ll need tomine iron nodesin order to gather iron ore.
Iron nodes are located in higher level areas, specificallylevel 20 and above. A specific location where iron ore can easily be found isalong the banks of Iron River, which is a locationnorth of Dayton Wetlands.
The enemies near the Iron River are much sturdier than the ones found in the Dayton Wetlands. It’s recommended that yougo through the story and naturally progressto the point where the quests take you to the Iron River.
To spot iron nodes,keep an eye out for rocks with orange streaks. Hovering over them should reveal what type of ore can be found by mining them.
In order to mine iron nodes,you’ll need aBronze Pickaxe. This can be unlocked byunlockingBronze Castingunder theInfrastructure tab in your Memetics menu.
