Disney Lorcana TCG: Gateway

The best tutorial mode in a TCG

Ready to dive right into Lorcana or want a fun way to introduce your friends to the game? Look no further than the Lorcana Gateway, a tutorial and mini-adventure tucked inside a single game.

Easily the best way to learn how to play is the Disney Lorcana Gateway box. It isn’t technically a part of Shimmering Skies, as it includes cards from other sets and doesn’t have the same branding, but it’s releasing around the same time so it might as well be.

This box comes with two 30-card decks, one built around the synergies with Amber & Amethyst, while the other is designed for Ruby & Sapphire. The Lorcana Gateway takes learning the game to a new level, mixing it with boardgame elements to make winning a bit more fun. The more you play, the more Reward Packs you’ll unlock, which you may use to upgrade your decks as you learn more about the game.
