Ready or Not is a movie about a woman who joins a family that worships an evil demon. Each new family member has to play a game on their wedding night. The newest member is forced to play hide and seek, but as she’s hiding, she realizes that her new family will kill her if they find her.
If Ready or Not is your favorite horror movie, you’re definitely Ninetails. Ninetails is very similar to the protagonist in this movie. They are both beautiful, but have hidden strength. And, of course, they’re both fiery.

Cabin in the Woods is a horror comedy that digs into the root of what makes a horror movie a horror movie. It surrounds a group of teenagers that are being sacrificed in order to save the world, being manipulated by scientists who control the Cabin.
Cabin in the Woods is a classic film that deserves a classic Pokemon like Mewtwo. The biggest similarity is the lack of control, and how scientists created both the cabin and Mewtwo’s body.
7The Mist
Mimikyu
The Mist is a story about a fog that rolls into town carrying giant creatures inside. These creatures slowly start to terrorize the humans living there, and they begin to turn on each other in the name of survival. It has one of the most tragic endings of any horror movie out there.
If your favorite movie can encompass both trauma responses and a depressing ending, you are clearly Mimikyu. Mimikyu isone of the sadderPokemon. It dresses like Pikachu so that people will like it better. Therefore, just like the ending of the movie, it’s deceptive, and not what it seems.
6The Shining
Charizard
The Shining is one of the most well-known horror movies of all time. The movie follows a writer who takes a job watching over a hotel during the off season with his family. In the isolation, the writer begins to lose his mind.
A classic movie needs an original Pokemon. Therefore, if The Shining is the movie you watch again and again, you’re Charizard. Charizard is recognizable, but one of the strongest Pokemon out there. Underneath his friendly exterior, he is deadly.
5Jennifer’s Body
Shiinotic
Jennifer’s Body is a comedy horror starring Megan Fox. A Demon takes possession of a teenage girl. She seduces men that she never showed interest in before, and then eats them. She’s possessed, and willing to take whatever she wants.
If this hilarious movie is your favorite horror movie, you’re Shiinotic. Shiinotic can cause others to be drowsy, just as Jennifer reels her prey in by seducing them. Then, similar to the movie, Shiinotic feeds on its enemy by sucking their energy until they’re dead.
4Carrie
Cubone
There have been multiple renditions of this movie, and all of them have been incredible. Carrie is a story of an abused girl who is bullied by her peers. When she’s pushed to her breaking point, her telekinesis power surfaces and she turns on those who hurt her.
Both Carrie and Cubone have something in common: Issues with their mother. The skull that Cubone wears is of its dead mother. Some say it won’t evolve until it comes to terms with her death.
3Jaws
Sharpedo
Jaws is a different breed of horror movie. The film is about a town in New England that is being terrorized by a shark. There are multiple attacks that lead to a battle between the town and the sharp-toothed beast. This movie has inspired many like it, including the Meg franchise.
If you’re obsessed with shark horror films, your Pokemon choice is obvious. You’re Sharpedo. Your obsessionwith the underwater predatorgoes beyond the big screen, and you’re able to, of course, mega evolve into an even deadlier shark.
2Alien
Deoxys
Alien is a movie with one of the coolest leading ladies: Ellen Ripley. The story is about a crew that wakes up on their ship and discovers an alien ship. They investigate, and the aliens begin to kill and take over their crew.
If Ellen Ripley has always inspired you, you’re Deoxys. This Pokemon is the result of an alien virus that fell to Earth. It changes forms in order to survive, just like Ellen will do anything to defeat the Aliens.
1The Silence of the Lambs
Sliggoo
The Silence of the Lambs is a movie about Hannibal Lecter. He manipulates a wannabe detective named Clarice who is working to find another serial killer. The movie is a psychological horror that makes it hard to sleep at night.
If psychological horror is what sparks your interest, you are Sliggoo. This Pokemon has been known for struggling to draw the line between friends and food, similar to Hannibal. While this Pokemon may look friendly, it’s anything but.
