EA Sports College Football 25has a very elaborate recruiting system in its Dynasty Mode, which allows almost any school to try and obtain top players from across the country and help develop a renowned college football reputation. The factors vary in a multitude of ways, from their chances of starting on the field to how competitive of a program you are.
However, when you make your coach, there is a seemingly small choice that also can sneakily affect your recruitment across your entire coaching journey, and that is your Pipeline. This choice allows you to adjust how your future talent sees their program, and by extension, can help you recruit the talent you want.

How Pipelines Work In EA Sports College Football 25
When you first create a new coach, there are variouscustomizable choices, and your coach’sPipeline is one of them. For those confused as to what that means, the Pipeline you choosewill give your coachmore influence over that area of the United States.
This influence can bekey to your future in recruitment, as one of thebiggest factorsfor signing playersis proximity to home. Therefore, if you choose a school, choosing a nearby area as your Pipelinewill makerecruiting playersfrom that areaeasierthan if you were to choose the Pipeline elsewhere.

After you choose the setting for your league, your team, and your coaching role, theCreate Coach screenis where you canselect your Pipeline. There are50 different pipelines, butnot every state is covered, so picking the closest Pipeline will offer the highest boost.
For example, it would be helpful to pick the local North Carolina Pipeline option after choosing Duke as the school you will be coaching.
Just becausechoosing your local Pipeline is helpful, thatdoesn’t mean you have todo it. ChoosingPipelines from other areaswill stillimprove your chancesof recruiting playersfrom those spots.
Each Pipelinehas adifferent style of playerthat will commonly appear across the years of simulation. Some could have consistently larger players than usual, while others can have consistently faster players than usual, but one thing that does matter is thatspecific Pipelines are stronger than others.
Some of thetop-ranked Pipelinesin College Football 25 areEast Texas, Central Florida, and Southern California, which means there will be ahigher likelihood of top recruitsfrom those regions. Some top schools already have strong connections to those regions, but gettinga one-star program with a top Pipelinecan lead toa new dynasty.
The way players can see their Pipeline effect in-game ison the Recruitment page. When looking at players, their location will havea small marker to the right of it.That marker is your Pipeline connection to that player, and the higher the rank, the better chance you have to get them on your team. It ranges fromthe lowest rank of Bronze to the highest rank of Pink.
Once chosen, there isn’t a way to change your Pipeline after you select it,but there also isn’t a way to reduce or increase how strong it is. Whether you want a challenge or a plethora of talent early on in your coaching career, the Pipeline choice is the biggest recruitment choice you make on your Create Coach screen.
