Once you start getting characters through the gacha system ofZenless Zone Zero, you might get confused looking at their information due to the existence of various unique stats. While there are well-known stats like ATK, Crit, or HP, you’ll also find some exclusive ones like Anomaly Proficiency or Impact.

Each one of these stats is useful in a specific scenario, and it’s important to build the right one depending on the character you’re using. However, to understand which character you should build Impact on, you’ll first have to learn what the stat does.

How Impact Works

As you take part in thecombat of Zenless Zone Zero, you’ll quicklynotice the yellow bar below an enemy’s HP bar, which fills up by a bit whenever you attack. This is known as the Daze meter, and when it fills up, the enemy goes into a vulnerable state, which prevents them from attacking while they take a lot more damage.

The Impact stat on your character directly affects this bar, with more of it being filled up when you have higher Impact. This lets you put enemies in a vulnerable state much more easily, which is especially useful against bosses with constant attacks and a high Daze bar.

When you attack a vulnerable enemy with any type of heavy attack, youcan trigger chain attacks between your characters.

These chain attacks can betriggered up to three timesif you’re fighting a boss enemy.

Where Should You Use Impact?

Whenever you acquire a new character in Zenless Zone Zero, you’ll seetwo main effects on them, their Attribute and Specialty. The former refers to the type of damage they deal while the latter simply mentions what they’re good at. One of these specialties is called Stun, which involves the perfect characters to have Impact on.

These characters are based on having abilities thatcan already deal high damage to the enemy’s Daze bar. Using these characters with a ton of Impact is the best way to deal with high-level bosses in the game.

When itcomes to Drive Discs, you can have Impact as a sub-stat on each one of them.

However, you canonly have it as a main stat on the sixth slotDisc.
