Zenless Zone Zerohas a cast of characters (called Agents) that are split between a few different factions. When you first start playing, you will be dealing with the Cunning Hares; specifically, Billy, Nicole, and Anby. These factions help shape the world, but how do they affect your game?
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how factions work, and how they affect gameplay. As either Belle or Wise, you won’t be able to pick a faction to align to, but the Agents that you summon will belong to one of the factions in the game.
What Factions Are In The Game?
In total, there are7 factions that the Agents are sorted into.Below, you can check out a list of all factions currently in the game.
Seth and Qinyi are not in the game yet.
Solider 11 is currently the only member of her faction!
What Do Factions Do?
In addition to working together in the story, factions canprovide some helpful bonuses when you are in combat.From the screen where you choose squad members, you will be able to see a yellow smile in the top corner. In our image above,the number next to the smile reads ‘3/3’.
By clicking on this icon, you will be able tosee abilities provided by your current team.For example, when you have Anby on your team along with another member of the Cunning Hares, she will gain the following ability.
Three abilities can be active at a time,but the requirements must be met for this to happen. When structuring a party,try to focus on their attribute or faction in order to reap these benefits.If no requirements are met, the number next to the smile will read ‘0/3’.
