Adding to the interest is a story on the Facebook page. That story implies a month-long celebration of the franchise. For reference, the first Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game debuted on May 30, 2025, meaning this is the 25th anniversary of the game that started it all.

Could More Tony Hawk Games Be On The Way?
Of course, all of this could turn out to be a tame celebration of an iconic video game franchise. But we’re gamers, and any little change or tease clearly means that something new is coming, right? Well, that’s what we’d like to believe.
As gamers remember,Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 received a remake by Vicarious Visions in 2020. Thatremake was then upgraded to next-gen consoles a year later. At the time, many thought that would be the start of multiple remakes or ports of past titles, like American Wasteland or Underground.
However, that was not the case. According to Tony Hawk himself, planned remakes of Pro Skater 3 and 4 were scrapped after Vicarious Visions merged with Blizzard. The studio went from an Activision subsidiary to Blizzard, and out went the plans, according to the famous skateboarder.
This was two years ago, though, and things could have changed during that time, even if Vicarious isn’t involved. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see how the next 30 days of September shake out, and whether a new game announcement will be on one of them.
