New Titan Quest 2 Trailer Shows Off ARPG Combat

Ahead of the trailer’s premiere at the THQ Nordic showcase today, we were told a bit more about the project and what players can expect from this sequel. Here, it was emphasised that the devs aren’t interested in straying from the originalTitan Quest, sticking with the sameDiablo-esque gameplay.

On top of this, we were told that enemy encounters are designed by hand, so it looks like the devs want players to strategies rather than rush in blindly. There are also no predefined character classes, so it seems that you build your character as you go without restriction.

Titan Quest 2 has been a long time coming. The original game first launched all the way back in 2006 but retained a following with numerous ports over the past 18 years. Understandably, there was a lot of interest when THQ Nordic revealed that it was reviving the series all this time later.

The original Titan Quest was developed by the now-defunct Iron Lore Entertainment. Titan Quest 2, on the other hand, is being made by Grimlore Games, the developer behind Spellforce 3. We don’t have a release date just yet, but we know it will be available onPC,PlayStation 5, andXbox Series X/S.
