If you’re starved for more Witcher content (we know you are), then you’ll be glad to know that the original Witcher comics are finally being translated into English. Oh, and they’re releasing next year. Original comics, you might ask?

Well, you see,The Witcherisn’t justsome Netflix show starring Henry Cavill, nor is ita series of video games headlined by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt by CD Projekt Red. The Witcher is actually a series of novels similar to Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings. Those novels were penned by one Andrzej Sapkowski and released in the 1990s. The novels eventually spawned a comic book series, which, to this point, had never been translated to English. Now, they’re getting their due.

With that out of the way, if you’re thinking that it’s been a particularly newsworthy week for The Witcher, then we’re inclined to agree. That’s because, just a few days ago, CD Projekt Red’s Paweł Sasko said in a podcast that of all the projects that CDPR is currently working on, which includes a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, among others, The Witcher 4 is the furthest along. In other words, it won’t be incredibly too long before fans get a look at the next Witcher video game saga.

Sasko called it the “most advanced” of all CDPR’s projects, adding that it will enter full production soon.Indeed, CDPR is hiring for a slew of positions related to its next Witcher endeavor, codenamed Polaris, including level designers and UI artists, per official job postings. More Witcher content is always a good thing, so let’s keep the train going.
