Summary
The Sims 4: Lovestruck offers a range of brand-new costumes for Sims to wear. They include some you would be happy to wear for Halloween or a similar event, while others are more private and steamy affairs you’ll want to keep for the bedroom.
All new costumes can be accessed in create a sim, and can also be found through the new costume trunk item in live mode.
There are a handful of costume-style items that cannot be accessed via the trunk. We’ve grouped these together and added them under male and female categories to reflect the tags on each.
11Park Ranger
Flirty Costumes > Jobs > Park Ranger
The park ranger costume has both a male and female variant as well as several swatches. The female frame option includes shorts and a short-sleeved cropped shirt tied at the front. It creates a style which is skimpier than you’d expect for a park ranger, but still easily wearable in public.
There’s a matching Park Ranger hat in base game to compliment this outfit.
The male-frame variant looks like a one piece, since the shirt top appears to tuck smoothly into the belt of the shorts. However, the sensual hint here is a deep v at the front, as several buttons are unfastened permanently.
10Apron And Underwear
Flirty Costumes > Whimsy > Apron
The apron and underwear combination is the ultimate answer to cooking in the heat. Simply wear your underwear and then add a cheeky apron over the top. There are several colour combinations and designs to choose from and, once again, this has two gender variants.
The female tagged version includes a bra and knickers, while the male tagged version includes a pair of boxer shorts. The apron designs also vary with the feminine one having more patterns, compared to plainer swatches for the other variant.
9Eggplant
Playful Costumes > Whimsy > Eggplant
The eggplant, or aubergine if you’re British, a classic vegetable that has become synonymous as an emoji symbol to describe a part of male anatomy. Now it’s been given an extra use, as a costume in Lovestruck.
The humour value of this one is high, but sadly the animations are a little lacklustre. You just can’t move and dance in this outfit as well as the others, and it takes the edge off it.
8Various Female Underwear
Create A Sim
Alongside the more traditional costumes you can also find a couple of Carnival-style net outfits, Some new underwear options, and a couple of sets of shiny tops and panties that may be best used for pretending to ice skate, but preferably not with ice, due to the skimpy nature of them.
Currently these outfits cannot be accessed with the costume trunk but can be found in create a sim as standard with no unlock requirements. There are also a couple of short slinky dresses as another nighttime alternative.
7Luchador
Flirty Costumes > Jobs > Luchador
If you want to get involved in wrestling then you are in luck, since the pack also includes a male and female Luchador costume in a variety of vibrant colours. The male variant is shorts with a tight skimpy vest type top, essentially a manki with hot pants, as well as elbow pads, knee pads, long laced boots and a mask.
The female variant is a short crop top and hot pants and also includes fishnet stockings as well as the knee and elbow pads and large boots. All objects have several swatches and are ready for you to use in order totake on the world, or each other at least.
6Catfish
Playful Costumes > Whimsy > Catfish
The catfish costume is a quirky addition with several colours. It moves well for a large costume and the eyes add a quirky touch we love to see.
The catfish is a great addition to a costume party and while it doesn’t bring the sexy vibes, it brings the fun and Sims dancing in this look fantastic.
5Maid
Flirty Costumes > Job > Maid
This maid outfit now has several swatches and comes in multiple colours. Designed for feminine frames it does look cute on everyone, and our favourite maid wearingCity Living neighbourcan now change up his colour choices.
The maid outfit it classic but a trousers and gloves male version is also available, it’s just not as cute to look at since it’s just a regular suit and shirt combo with short white gloves. Boring.
4Firefighter
Flirty Costumes > Jobs > Firefighter
The game already has a regular firefighter outfit, but this one is far less practical, and we do not recommended actually fighting fires while wearing it. This option is strictly for looks.
The original firefighters outfit can still be accessed and the hat can be paired with either option.
Once more, male and female frames are covered with a version that has trousers and no shirt, and another which is paired with a crop top. Both have several swatches and look as hot as the fires we stress that you don’t attempt to fight.
3Male Underwear
Men also have a range of unique underwear items, more unique than the female ones. The net options are present but also a bow tie and boxers combo, some interesting looking chains, and another variant of a not suitable for the cold shiny ice skater-style outfit.
These options can beaccessed in create a sim, and while females can wear them, most will appear with the default Sim underwear underneath, which often spoils the look. It’s best to keep these for male framed Sims for the best results.
2Cupid
Flirty Costumes > Fantasy > Cupid
If you have a love-based delivery to make then the Cupid costume is here to help. This fantasy look comprises hotpants with a skirt over the top, then either a short heart shaped crop top or a sash. Both looks have colour swatches ranging from black and white to gold and shiny.
Cupid is here to make a delivery to your lovelife, straight from the costume chest in this outfit which could be worn at a party, but might get you a few interesting looks.
