Insects are already a nightmare for humanity; they crawl under your bed and scale the walls, dropping down when you least expect them to. Now, what if those insects were giant man-eaters? The Gastrea of Black Bullet are just that, an invasive parasite that takes many forms, especially insects.
They have immense strength and are incredibly violent. Killing one also releases pheromones that attract countless others to the body, making them nearly impossible to get rid of. This leads to a good chunk of the human population being exterminated by their unstoppable numbers.
5Angels
The Most Destructive Entities
Neon Genesis Evangelion starts as a pure mecha anime; however, as the series progresses, it gets much darker and even more existential at times. Characters struggle to come to grips with their own traumas and, on top of it all, they have to face a danger unlike any other.
These Angels are destructive beings that slaughter countless lives in their attempt to reach Lilith, a giant humanoid lifeform kept deep within the confines of NERV Organization’s headquarters. If they succeed, they will cause an event known as Third Impact, which will destroy all life on Earth.

The Tiyanak are horrific abominations created from the unwanted children left behind in the woods. They are filled with hatred for those who left them behind and very gruesomely attack the mothers that disposed of them.

Unsettling And Terrifying Presence
Elfen Lied has a way of really getting under your skin; on the surface, Lucy is a beautiful pink-haired girl, but underneath, her distrust of humans has turned her into a cold-hearted killing machine. The most unsettling thing about her abilities is how she can kill anyone using her telekinesis.
The idea that any character could die in a heartbeat adds to the tension each time she’s on the screen. The goreyness of the scenes and brutality make her a truly terrifying monster to behold.

Dying fish and insect legs are not something that should ever be combined. Meanwhile,Junji Itoblends both elements into something truly terrifying. As if the original manga didn’t make them creepy enough, the monsters were animated for the film release, and boy are they scary.
Now you can see all the creepy legs skittering across the floor and through the streets as the fish walk out of the ocean and into the heart of the city. What’s worse is that fish are not the only creatures capable of becoming part of the hoard.
