Summary
Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas so many characters, and one of the best parts of these villagers is the conversations they have with each other. The dialogue is either in passing, for quests, or comes about because certain characters seek each other out. Either way, there are more than enough feel-good moments to go around. It definitely fulfills someone’s childhood dream of seeing these classic characters interacting in-game!
Characters often wave at each other, but interaction goes beyond that — they have full-blown conversations with each other when you’re not close enough to interact with them yourself. There are so many wholesome conversations to witness when they’re not looking at you or waving like they usually do.

verify not to get close enough for the characters to stop what they’re doing and greet you if you’re trying to discover these interactions. The right amount of distance is key!
10Mirabel And Moana
This list wouldn’t be complete withouttwo of the most bubbly characters, Mirabel and Moana. These two have lots to talk about, being the black sheep of their families, and both being adventurous in their own right. Mirabel isn’t a princess, technically, but both of these girls are still Disney heroines, so it’s healing to everyone’s inner child to see them being such good friends.
Mirabel tells Moana all about her family, andMoana tells Mirabel all about her love of sailing, and her home island, Motonui. With the two girls being so similar, it’s no wonder they have so many good conversations together.

9Maui And Anna
This interaction is a far more early- game one, especially if you focus on unlocking both characters as soon as you may. It’s well known thatMaui and Anna are polar opposites, so their interactions are bound to be at least a little comedic. It’s also important to remember that Anna is one of the more shy characters, so pairing her up with arguably one of the most extroverted characters is a wonderful sight.
Anna tries to ask Maui something, but Maui, being himself, thinks Anna wants to ask for his autograph just like he assumed Moana did once. Funnily enough, Anna was only trying to ask Maui to reach a coconut for her, and his flabbergasted reaction is the best part of the conversation.

8Mickey And Simba
Both theking of the Pride Landsand theking of Disneyare head over heels for their partners, and they love to talk about them to each other. This is a series of interactions where Simba and Mickey will talk about date ideas for Nala and Minnie, what they love about their ladies, and basically being extremely in love. It’s so wholesome to see, and even better when you stumble into it as soon as you unlock Simba.
One of these interactions is Mickey talking about a picnic date he and Minnie go on, and Simba responds with how he and Nala go hunting together. It’s similar, and it’s adorable how Simba and Mickey relate to each other.

7Daisy And Donald
These two do bicker sometimes, but it’s how they banter that’s the most wholesome.Donald cooks for Daisy, but he doesn’t remember anallergy she has to Milkweed. Hopefully him forgetting that is just one of theeffects of the Forgetting. These two, who may or may not have spectators depending on how busy the area is, have a chance to talk about this allergy and a meal Donald made.
Daisy mentions that she hopes there isn’t Milkweed in the meal, and Donald doesn’t confirm or deny it. Instead, he’s shockedDaisy’s allergic to a flowerwhen she’s named after a flower herself. Which is fair.

6Vanellope And Stitch
Stitch always has some of the best interactions, and one of the most fun combinations you may come across ishis conversations with Vanellope. Although the tiny racer can’t understand Stitch, it’s the thought that counts, and she puts the effort into a conversation anyway. It’s fun to watch asshe tries to mimic his language, and while Stitch does know a little English, he probably appreciates Vanellope’s attempt.
The language barrier is no problem when you’re as goofy as Vanellope, and it helps that she loves talking to Stitch and gets excited every time she does. Two of the cutest characters interacting is bound to be the best.

5Woody And Everyone
One of Woody’s most classic greetings to you is tipping his hat, but you might not know that he actually does this to everyone, even the villains. Each villain has their own unique reaction to Woody doing this, but for him to be so consistent with everyone is wholesome enough on its own.
Some villains, like Ursula and Scar, react with disgust or aggression, but that’s not surprising.

Every character seems happy to have Woody around, which is wonderful to actually see as you’re running around the Valley. His little salute can be hard to spot when he blends in so perfectly with the grass, but it’s worth looking for.
4Jack Skellington And Fairy Godmother
Jack is so wholesome on his own that it’s hard to imagine it getting any better, right? Well, withhis addition into the Forgotten Lands, that unsurprisingly comes with his interactions with the Fairy Godmother. Jack’s fascination with the magical and mystical naturally leads him straight to her door, sometimes literally, andtheir conversations are all filled with Jack’s respect for Fairy Godmother.
Fairy Godmother is, in fact, Jack’s favorite person. He says so himself, after watching her wave her wand and say her famous catchphrase. Fairy Godmother is one of the sweetest characters in the game, no doubt about it.

3Stitch And Ursula
Now this is a very plausible interaction, especially if Stitch goes surfing at all while he’s staying in the Valley.Ursula is one of the villains constantly stirring up troublefor the Valley, especially Merlin, soStitch can’t help but be a little concerned. She’s a little difficult to interact with, especially since she only resides in bodies of water, but when Stitch finds a way, he’ll be there.
Fans of Lilo and Stitch will know about the concept of a ‘badness level’, and this is exactly what Stitch is worried about for himself when he first arrives in the Valley. When he talks to Ursula,he’s also worried about her badness level, and it’s adorable how much he cares.

2Merlin And WALL-E
WALL-E has to be in the top five percent of everyone’s favorite Villagers, especially when he’s excited about something important to him.Merlin is almost as curious as WALL-E, so it’s no wonderhe has a particular interest in how WALL-E works. He’ll ask him about it, which would be useful if Merlin could understand anything the little robot says.
Merlin’s interactions with WALL-E are often him trying to decipher the clicks and beeps WALL-E makes, ortrying to decipher the inner workings of WALL-E’s directiveand programming. Maybe he’ll be able to figure the little robot out someday.

1Ariel And WALL-E
This is a more widely known friendship, not just interaction.WALL-E and Ariel used to hold swap meets for human junkbeforethe Forgetting, and they bond over their love for random trinkets every chance they get. These two are equals in curiosity, in innocence, and in wholesome conversation, sothis is one of the most seamless pairings in the whole game.
WALL-E is excited about everything Ariel finds, no matter what it is, and Ariel is happy to add anything to her collection. Their friendship is fun to watch develop, and it’s especially fun to watch whenthey meet up to trade the smallest of things, like a hairbrush.
