10Fenriloogamon: Takemikazuchi (Alternate Art) - $41.63

Sword Doggo, Attack!

Alternate art cards are always going to equal big money for collectors, especially if this card is a fan favorite from the Digimon Seekers web novel. Seekers started off with a rocky start and a not-so-great translation, but as the story developed, fans fell in love with Eiji and his partner Loogamon.

Takemikazuchi is its final form after it DNA Digivolves with Kazuchimon so this is one to collect and keep in the binder. Who doesn’t love dogs that hold giant electric swords in their mouths?

9Koji Minamoto (Alternate Art) - $42.72

Tamer Alternate Arts Are Always The Best

This tamer card leads the way for the best deck in the format so it’s no question that tournament players will want their deck shiny and expensive. If you’re planning on playing AncientGarurumon, you’ll need four of this version of Koji Minamoto.

Tamer cards are always some of the best-looking ones in the game. The team at Bandai always pulls all the stops when planning alternate arts for Tamers. This Koji Minamoto shows off his final Digivolution, AncientGarurumon, proudly standing behind him.

The Winged Royal Knight Descends Into Battle

Protagonist Digimon are always going to be the most popular in the franchise, so whenever they get a beautiful alternate art like this Gallantmon, it’s sure to hold quite the price tag, especially if it’s actually a good card. Not only is the card good in Gallantmon decks, but it is generic enough to be splashed into just about any red deck.

Gallantmon: Crimson Mode does what Gallantmon does best: DP-based deletion. But this angelic art of theRoyal Knightwill have your opponents shaking in their boots once you drop this card mid-attack.

AncientGarurumon Alternate Art full card with a gaussian blurred background from the Digimon Card Game set BT17 Secret Crisis.

7AncientGarurumon (Alternate Art) - $66.63

Best Deck In The Format

In the same vein as Koji Minamoto, this AncientGarurumon card is another key piece in the blue Hybrid deck. If you’re planning on playing this deck, this is one of the cards you need to have. Not for the reasons you might be thinking though.

The art on the base rarity card is a bit bland, so playing with a more dynamic AncientGarurumon will provide just enough happiness that you’ll never miss the timing on your combos ever again. The base rarity is already pretty pricey as it is, so might as well buy the alternate art.

Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode ACE Alternate Art full card with a gaussian blurred background from the Digimon Card Game set BT17 Secret Crisis.

6Imperialdramon Paladin Mode ACE (Alternate Art) - $68.20

Summon The Power Of Omnimon!

Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode is already one of the coolest Digimon in the franchise and this alternate art further enforces that point. The mighty founder of the Royal Knights holds his sword proudly in the sky, ready to decimate any opponent who might stand in the way.

The card is an excellent boon for Imperialdramon, but just like every ACE card in the set, it is generic enough to be used in any deck with its matching colors. Get ready to fight against every purple deck’s worst enemy.

5Greymon (Right) (Textured) - $76.64

One Of Four Greymon Chase Cards

Secret Crisis includes a ton ofchase cardsfor collectors to look after. Being comically known by the community as the “Greymon Card Game,” it is no surprise that Tai Kamiya’s partner Greymon received four different versions of the Secret Rare card.

This Greymon is based on the version that appears in the first Digimon movie, letting you evolve into it as if it were a Koromon. This version features its iconic fight against Parrotmon in the middle of Hikarigaoka with a stunning gold foiled outline.

4Greymon (Left) (Textured) - $91.67

The Iconic Movie Battle Immortalized

The other version of the Greymon chase card is quite similar to the previous one, but this time the card is almost mirrored, while the giant Dinosaur Digimon is charging unto Parrotmon. The card still has the same golden foil outline on the characters, but the colors are far more vibrant on this card.

Both protagonists, Tai and Kari are seen being protected by Greymon, which could be why this card is a bit more valuable than the other, even though they share similar pull rates.

Fenriloogamon: Takemikazuchi textured full card with a gaussian blurred background from the Digimon Card Game set BT17 Secret Crisis.

3Fenriloogamon: Takemikazuhi (Textured) - $290.66

Shiny Foil For Your Sons Of Chaos Deck

Showing the picture of this card on a screen does not do it justice. This is one of those cards that you need to see in person to truly appreciate how neat it is and why its value is so high. The art for this Takemikazuchi card is the same as its alternate art, but it comes with a golden foil outline.

Since it is one of the chase cards, Bandai ups its game with the card texture having a relief all over, making it very striking and satisfying to hold. Just don’t hold it too long or you’ll devalue it quite a bit.

Gallantmon: Crimson Mode ACE Textured full card with a gaussian blurred background from the Digimon Card Game set BT17 Secret Crisis.

BT17 Secret Crisis also features chase cards for Omnimon ACE and ShineGreymon: Burst Mode ACE, but no market data was available at the time of writing.

2Gallantmon: Crimson Mode ACE (Textured) - $404.28

I’m Seeing Red!

The big ACE Digimon in the set all received excellent chase cards with a foil matching their respective colors. The Gallantmon: Crimson Mode ACE is just a giant wall of red. While it may seem lazy from the designers, the card looks beautiful in person.

Not only does the foil is eye-catching to everyone around you, but the art behind it is even better than either the base rarity or the alternate art. If you want to maximize the rarity of your Gallantmon deck, prepare to shell out some cash for this guy.

Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode ace textured full card with a gaussian blurred background from the Digimon Card Game set BT17 Secret Crisis.

1Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode ACE (Textured) - $411.48

An Excellent Card For An Even Better Digimon

Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode already received a chase card in the form of a ghost rare back inBT14 Blast Ace,but as one of the most popular Digimon in the series, why not another one? One can argue that this one is even better than its BT14 counterpart, as this one is playable in so many different decks.

Plus, the attacking pose and the stunning blue and green effects, signaling the DNA Digivolution, are some of the coolest things about this extremely rare and collectible card.
