Cards are valued according to theirTCGPlayerMarket Price, representing what you might pay for any(first edition, where applicable)copy of the cards below.

However, given their age and rarity, sale prices are vastly different depending on the card’s condition,so this market price is just a rough idea of the card’s value.

The M Pidgeot Full Art from XY Evolutions in the Pokemon TCG.

Updated May 18, 2025, by Andrew Scariati:We’ve added two new Pidgeot cards to the list, as Mega Evolutions are shaking up the Pokemon TCG landscape. Vintage and mid-vintage cards and beginning to garner more attention, with Pidgeot a noticeable beneficiary from the shift.

8Pidgeot: Holon Phantoms (Holo Rare) – $11.23

A Cool, Breezy Close-Up

This Pidgeot takes us back to the good ol' days before Special Illustration Rares, Rainbow Secret Rares, and the other modern innovations in Pokemon card rarity. Pidgeot’s classic cool design claims the stage, accented with expertly applied shadows as it flies through the sky.

Holon Phantoms is an incredibly valuable set featuring a strong lineup of delta species Pokemon.

The Pidgeot from Southern Islands in the Pokemon TCG.

Unfortunately, this card is trending down, sliding from the $16 plateau and barely clinging to the double digits. You can find lightly played (LP), moderately played (MP), and heavily played (HP) copies for a few dollars cheaper, but it’snot worth the discount if you enjoy cards in great condition.

7M Pidgeot EX: XY Evolutions (Full Art) – $13.63

Rise Of The Megas

Following the announcement that Mega Evolutions would return to the Pokemon TCG, many ofthe most valuable Mega Evolved Pokemon began to percolate in price.M Pidgeot is one such Pokemon that jumped into contention as one of the best Pidgeot chase cards in the Pokemon TCG.

This Pidgeot couldn’t even crack the five-dollar mark but eventually soared toward the $15 plateau as part of a major spike in value that shook up the landscape of Mega-Evolved Pokemon cards.

The Pidgeot from Obsidian Flames in the Pokemon TCG.

6Pidgeot: Southern Islands (Promo) – $14.56

The Perfect Tropical Vacation

This card might win an award for having the best vibes – what other card portrays a warm, relaxing vacation and a glimmering sky filled with Pidgeot, Mew, plus other Pokemon? If there is one, it would be hard to beat the immaculate composition of this card, as thebright pastel colors pop on the perfect blue and white sky.

Exeggutor also boasts a Southern Islands promo among its most valuable cards,as this card could join its Grass-type compatriot to form a fabulous duo.

The Holo Rare Pidgeot from FireRed and LeafGreen in the Pokemon TCG.

Southern Islands promo cards never disappoint with their warm, vibrant scenes and this card has seen plenty of love in NM condition. It continues to rise into the double digits, jumping from $11 to $13, before settling in at its current price. EvenLPandMPcopies can still commandeight or nine dollars.

5Pidgeot Ex: Obsidian Flames (Special Illustration Rare) – $17.41

Flying Into The New Age

The Pidgeot ex is making massive waves in the Scarlet & Violet era, boasting one of the most beautiful andvaluable cards in Obsidian Flames.

While Obsidian Flames is probably one of the weakest sets in the entire Scarlet & Violet era in terms of value, the Pidgeot ex deckis no pushover when it comes to the competitive scene, making a case as one of the best in recent times.

The Pidgeot from Base Set 2 in the Pokemon TCG.

While it’s still very early in its life, the Pidgeot ex has already seen a share of price fluctuations, bouncing from eight dollars up to $12 in near-mint(NM) condition at its recent highs. This Pidgeot is one to watch as one of the most iconic cards from its set, making it likely to continue increasing in value.

4Pidgeot: FireRed & LeafGreen (Holo Rare) – $18.75

A Beautiful Glide

FireRed and LeafGreen feature several beautiful cards in the storied set, and even Pidgeot is beginning to fetch high prices to compensate for this excellent art.

While 2024 wasn’t particularly kind to this card, it found a foothold in 2025 as it soared toward its current market price, leaving its previous single-digit highs behind. With Pidgeot’s eyes focused on moving even higher on this list, we see a bright future ahead for this Pidgeot card.

The Pidgeot from Expedition in the Pokemon TCG.

3Pidgeot: Base Set 2 (Holo Rare) – $25.81

Keep An Eye On The Stamp

This Pidgeot artwork stakes a claim as arguably the most iconic depiction of Pidgeot in the Pokemon TCG, as it features in another set still to come.

Despite its name, theBase Set Two is the third printing of the base set, with the first edition and Unlimited printings preceding it. Thus, Base Set Two is a reprint of the Base and Jungle sets.

The first-edition Pidgeot from Jungle in the Pokemon TCG.

This Pidgeot, unfortunately, mirrors a persistent downward trend that has afflicted many vintage cards. Pidgeot has seen hard times but continues to weather every storm it faces. You can pick up a copy of this card for as little assix dollars in HP condition.

2Pidgeot: Expedition (Holo Rare) – $58.63

A Red-Hot Rendering

This Pidgeot doesn’t quite pack enough heat to be amongthe most expensive cards in Expedition, but it’s certainly got a fierce focus on claiming a second-place finish among all Pidgeot cards. While the pose is similar to the Pidgeot from Holon Phantoms, this card features much more red, with a background that sets the tone for this card.

Unfortunately, despite its rarity, this Pidgeot’s value has tanked recently, tumbling from the $90 mark in 2023 and falling into the 50s.NM copies still fetch between $50 and $60, but you’ll get a small discount in the $40 range if you settle for LP.

1Pidgeot: Jungle (Holo Rare) – $78.89

Spreads Its Wings And Flies Away

Pidgeot returns to the wild side with this fantastic card fromJungle claiming the top spot as the most expensivePidgeot card in the Pokemon TCG.

This card features the same design as the Pidgeot from Base Set 2, but thisfirst-edition versionis far rarer and more valuable, though its value relies heavily on its condition.

It’s very difficult to find a first-edition copy inNM condition, so you can expect to pay about $80 for one. However, if you want to sacrifice the condition, you can save a large sum, with MP and HP copies hovering in the $20 range, while LP copies can reach the $45 region, which is still a significant discount from NM.
