The Neo sets are some of the most popularPokemon TCGexpansions of all time, offering an excellent assortment of Pokemon from Generations One and Two to collect. While these sets predate the days ofvaluable full-art Trainer cards, there are still some fantastic Pokemon to collect in Neo Revelation.
If you’re a fan of shiny Pokemon but don’t enjoymodern sets like Shining Legends, then Neo Revelation even has something for you, though many of these cards feature the standard color palettes.

Cards are valued according to theirTCGPlayerMarket Price, which is what you mightpay for a near-mintcopy of thefirst-edition cardsbelow.
Given their age and rarity, sale prices are vastly different depending on condition,so this is just a rough idea of the card’s value.

10Misdreavus (Holo Rare) – $82.50
An Unexpected Ghost
When you think of Ghost-type Pokemon from Generation One and Two, you might immediately call popular Pokemon like Gengar to mind, butthis oft-forgotten Ghost generates some good value.Misdreavus only commands about $20–30 in most conditions for its Unlimited copy, but the first-edition version is significantly more valuable.
Another popular Ghost, Gengar boasts a VMAX version that is one of the most valuable Ghosts of all time asthe top card in Fusion Strike.

Misdreavus' can be had for about $80 in near-mint condition – if you’re lucky enough to find one. While this card sells often, it’s usually in poorer condition. If you don’t care too much about the condition, you can pick this card up much more cheaply than some of the later entries.
9Celebi (Holo Rare) – $86.25
A Majestic Mythical Appearance
Celebi climbs into the toptier of Neo Revelation cards,as this Pokemon’s vibrant verdant color pops against a primarily black background. Celebi is a mythical Pokemon that was introduced in Johto, and remains one of the most popular Generation Two Pokemon to this day.
Itholds a strong value in all conditions,as you won’t find a first-edition copy of this card for less than $40, the price of a damaged copy. Celebi continues to be celebrated by collectors of all kinds, as not even a concerning condition can stop this Pokemon.

8Porygon2 (Holo Rare) – $89.01
Looking To The Future
Porygon2 rarely finds itself in the spotlight, as Normal-type Pokemon rarely see much limelight unless they’re Eevee or Snorlax.
EvenSmeragle has a few valuable cards, but there’s no comparing Normal-type Pokemon to some of the most popular picks.

Porygon2 has a very wide price range considering its top-end sales only barely touch the $100 mark, as you can find MP (moderately played) first-edition copies foras low as $27, but a near-mint copy may run you $100.
7Ho-Oh (Holo Rare) – $249.88
Flying Close To The Sun
Ho-Oh boasts a beautiful artwork that captures every feather’s vibrant color in its bright rainbow palette. This card catapults far above Poygon2,exceeding its competition by over $150 in value.
A near-mint copy would probably exceed $250, as an LP copy sold for that amount, but there’s a lack of NM copies in the current sales data.

A Ho-Oh can still be purchased in worse condition if you aren’t willing to shell out over $200 for one with minimal wear, you can geta damaged copy for about $60–70 if you manage to find it.
6Raikou (Holo Rare) – $249.98
Sticking Its Nose In Front
Raikou rests in a relaxing seated position, as it enjoys its place among the most valuable cards in Neo Revelation. Raikou is the first of the legendary dog (or cat) trio to appear thus far and is neck-and-neck with Ho-oh for supremacy.
Unlike Ho-Oh,Raikou’s value is confirmedby a recentnear-mint sale at $249.98,giving a clear indication that this card’s price is what the market will bear.

5Suicune (Holo Rare) – $279.00
A Soft Starry Sky
Suicune stands tall as the second member of its trio to appear, jumping ahead of its counterpart Raikou to the tune of a $30 increase in value. Suicune, like Celebi, is an extremely popular card that commandsrelatively high value in all conditions, making it one of the most expensive cards in Neo Revelation.
Suicune has one of the most solidly defined markets of any Neo Revelation card, as a handful of both LP and NM-condition cards have sold in recent times, ranging from $181 to $300.

4Houndoom (Holo Rare) – $300.00
No Gloom But Plenty Of Doom
This Houndoom eclipses itsHolo version in Neo Discoveryby a significant margin, as this fantastic first-edition card reaches incredible heights.
One in near-mint (NM) condition will cost close to $300, but you can save a significant amount of money if you don’t mind settling for one in lightly played (LP) condition, whichcould cost you roughly half as much as NM.Condition is everything when it comes to Pokemon cards, as the values shift accordingly.

3Entei (Holo Rare) – $379.00
Entei’s Time To Shine
Entei claims victory in one of the first battles between it and the other members of its legendary trio: Raikou and Suicune. The three are forever linked in the TCG and beyond, as they often appear together in the same sets.
Although the Entei V is one ofthe most valuable cards in Crown Zenith, it loses out to its fellow legendary trio peer Suicune in value, but that isn’t the case here.

This Entei is arguably the most beautiful depiction we’ve ever received of this regal Fire-type legendary, as Entei’s mane flows elegantly in the wind, enjoying its sky-high price.
2Shining Magikarp (Secret Rare) – $449.00
Fishing For Gold
Magikrap makes a splash asthe runner-up for the most valuable Neo Revelation card,as this deep-sea artwork flies high above its competition.
Magikarp isn’t a loser today, as the card that claims the top spot is related to this poor little goldfish.
While you won’t find many clean copies of this card that haven’t already been sent in for grading, they are out there, as a sale at $449 for a near-mint copy of this card sets the market price. More data will be needed to confirm that valuation, but it’s likely to stay in that range when another one sells.
1Shining Gyarados (Secret Rare) – $852.99
Rising High Above The Rest
The Shining Gyarados stands tall as the most expensive card in Neo Revelation and easily the most iconic Gyarados artwork of all time, as the terror felt by that poor fisherman is evident.
The legacy of shiny Gyarados lives on throughout Pokemon TCG history, as it also appeared in BreakPoint, one ofthe most valuable sets in the Pokemon X & Y era.
This card rarely appears ungraded in near-mint condition, so the TCG Market Price is little more than an estimate based onan LP sale at about $700, though $850 seems like a fairly accurate number.
