ThePokemon TCGleaves no Pokemon out of the fray, with even the most underrated options receiving their share of cards. While some ofthe most valuable cards from the Black & White eracommand hundreds of dollars, Bouffalant’s collective of top cards will cost you a fraction of that.

While Bouffalant can’t hope to compare tovaluable Pokemon cards like Sylveon’s,it still has a niche in the Pokemon TCG with a small group of only 11 cards to choose from. One of those 11 is fromthe Scarlet & Violet era’sStellar Crown set, but many of Bouffalant’s best cards are desirable because they hail from rarer Black & White sets.

Cards are ordered according to theirTCGPlayerMarket Price, which represents the average price you might pay for a copy of the cards below.

However, sale pricesvary depending on the card’s condition,so this market price is just a rough idea of itsvalue.

5Bouffalant: Black & White (Uncommon) – $0.29

Bling And Sun Shining

This blinged-out Bouffalant from the Black & White base set features a gorgeous, glimmering depiction of this Pokemon and its golden horn rings. With such a beautiful background and a captivating depiction of this Pokemon in its natural habitat, it makes youwish this card was a full art instead.

Unfortunately, while the reverse holo version would command more money, it doesn’t have a recorded market price on TCGplayer to list. However, once there’s more sales data to reference, this card’s reverse holo version should improve its value.

The Bouffalant Rare from Black & White in the Pokemon TCG.

While the reverse holo versions can sell for up to 95 cents, the regular version boasts more sales, trading between 25 cents to 99 cents in near-mint(NM)condition. Some lightly played(LP)normal copies can be had for 20 cents or less.

4Bouffalant: Dragon’s Exalted (Reverse Holo) – $0.38

An Art That Deserved More

If you like Bouffalant and are in the market to start a Bouffalant collection, then there’s plenty of good news ahead, as even the most valuable versions of this buffalo Pokemon won’t cost much. Even this gorgeous artwork from Dragon’s Exalted – a popular set with many expensive cards – can’t command more than38 cents.

However, being so affordable isn’t a bad thing, as it makes this card accessible to anyone who wants it, whether to build a master set or simply to collect as a fan of Bouffalant.

The Bouffalant Plasma Storm Rare from the Pokemon TCG.

This card comes in both normal and reverse holo versions, but the better version only costs 12 cents more. Sales are difficult to find, with only a handful to search through in 2024,illustrating how rare cards from this set can be.

3Bouffalant: Black & White (Reverse Holo) – $0.59

Ready To Fight For First

Bouffalant gets another entry from the Black & White base set with this ferocious depiction. The reverse holo trend will continue, with Bouffalant left shortchanged on variety among its most expensive cards.

While Bouffalant’s most expensive cards are currently reverse holos, it would do wonders for this Pokemon’svalue if it received a VMAX cardfrom the Sword & Shield era, or if there’s a Special Illustration Rare still to come.

The Bouffalant from Legendary Treasures in the Pokemon TCG.

This card can be found in various conditions, ranging from 39 cents in moderately played(MP)condition, jumping up to roughly one dollar in an LP state, with the cleanest NM copies also commanding around one dollar. The price differences are minor, and conditions can push the price up or down accordingly.

2Bouffalant (Team Plasma): Plasma Storm (Reverse Holo) – $0.87

A Villainous Victory

The second most expensive Bouffalant card in the Pokemon TCGfalls shy of the one-dollar mark, despite an impressive attempt, given that this Pokemon doesn’t have any spectacular Full Art versions or other cards that might have been worth a bit.

Even LP listings have sold for more than a dollar, so there’s a genuine chance that this Bouffalant could reach the nextvalue tier with Pokemon like Hisuian Arcanine.

However, NM copiesof this reverse holo have been selling for about$1.50,so this card’s time to crack into the realm of paper money might be coming.

1Bouffalant: Legendary Treasures (Reverse Holo) – $2.71

The Cutest Bouffalant Bar None

This gorgeous card features two Natu snuggling for warmth in Bouffalant’s bushy mane, as it gives them a glance to check on the disturbance. While this massive Pokemon is likely unfazed by the gentle nudging, it’s hard not to swoon over how sweet this scene is.

While some copies of the reverse holo have sold as cheaply as 20 cents, most copies command way more money than any other of the expensive Bouffalant cards.

NM copies can typically sell for $2.50 while some LP copies drop to $2.18 and below, although some LP copies sold for more than NM, which could be difficult to explain. However, with a market price just shy of three dollars, this card from Legendary Treasures easily earns the title ofthe most expensive Bouffalant ever.
