Summary
Home Safety Hotline is a new analog horror game in which you become a representative for the Home Safety Hotline company. Your job is to answer calls from distressed people, who usually complain about a disturbance in their home, and then respond with the appropriate information. If the wrong information is sent along, there will be consequences.
While some of the situations will be typical occurrences like dealing with carpenter ants or bats, you will also have to detect some unsettling and fantastical creatures. These are the creepiest creatures you will have to identify during your employment at the Home Safety Hotline Company.

10Mirror Nymphs
Mirror Nymphs are little humanoid creatures who invade houses to entice humans to look into the mirrors they carry. One victim in particular calls in to frantically tell you she is not herself anymore, that she was stolen and can no longer recognize her reflection.
The pesky nymph will either leave itself out of boredom or someone will have to smash its mirror with an iron tool. While not the creepiest thing, the psychological damage it can deal to a person’s mind alone is frightening.

9Warlock Remnants
Warlock Remnants are remaining fragments of Warlocks who have since passed on. They tend to dwell in older houses or castles and have a hostile presence while also being mostly harmless.
Warlocks are men who practiced witchcraft, also known as wizards.
People with warlocks in their homes have reported catching glimpses of bearded figures on reflective surfaces, noticing small household objects being moved, and hearing threatening whispers around the house. It is not easy to expel the Warlock Remnants, and it will not leave on its own choice either. It is suggested that people move houses rather than exterminate them.
8Stair Slug
Bigger than any slug in this world, the Stair Slug occupies stairwells as well as basements. They are the size of a large dog and while they are not dangerous to humans, they leave slimy trails where they inhabit themselves. Stair slugs like to feed on household pests such as mice and hobbs, small mischievous creatures, which could be favorable.
Fortunately, they are one of the easier creatures to get rid of. Homeowners will have to make a thick ring of salt around the stairwell the Stair Slug has inhabited and wait until it becomes dehydrated to dispose of it. While not one of the most dangerous creatures, it’s disturbing to imagine a huge slug hanging out in the basement.

7Spriggan
Spriggans are little human-like green creatures who inhabit the flora surrounding homes; their presence causes vines to grow both inside and outside of homes at an accelerated pace. Homeowners with a Spriggan infestation usually report the feeling of being watched by their trees. It is recommended that they should no longer remove or kill the wildlife or the vegetation in their yard or the Spriggans will be provoked.
If physical contact is made with a Spriggan the individual should be immediately quarantined and make peace. The affected victim now has a sprig tree growing in them and will reach full size in a matter of days, resulting in death.

6Bed Hags
Bed Hags are humanoid creatures who take on the form of an elderly woman and hide under beds. Their goal is to steal the breath of those who sleep in the bed they inhabit. While they are not the most deadly of creatures, they can severely affect small children or people with breathing problems.
Bed Hags are similar to the mythological creature Night Hag, who sits on their victims' chest to give them sleep paralysis.

Bed Hags can also be beneficial to homeowners because they scare off household pests. However, if not removed, people will report feeling a heavy weight on their chests at night, hearing croaking or wheezing, as well as experiencing sleep paralysis.
5False Rosebush
False Rosebushes are creatures that appear as normal rosebushes to camouflage themselves to get closer to their prey. They are identifiable from their two human-like feet that grow instead of roots. While they are not dangerous to adults, False Rosebushes target children and small pets to consume.
These plant-like creatures only tend to stick around if they can keep finding more prey to eat. Homeowners with False Rosebushes will be advised to keep their children and small pets out of its hunting range for a month or until they move on to somewhere else.

4Night Gnome
Night Gnomes are hairy creatures that resemble garden gnomes. They love to watch humans sleep and are often spotted peering inside windows in the middle of the night. People with Night Gnomes also tend to hear heavy breathing in the night.
Gnomes are generally harmless but mischievous creatures in mythology.

While they are not dangerous, they are incredibly disturbing to those they stalk. Unfortunately, there is not much to do about Night Gnomes, other than hope they find someone else more entertaining to watch or maybe invest in a sleeping mask.
3Boggart
Boggarts are large six to seven-foot-tall creatures that hide within homes and do not like to be seen. At night, they like to watch people sleep as well as create household disasters like flooding, electrical outages, and fires which can become extremely dangerous for any of the inhabitants.
If a Boggart is spotted, they will quickly become angry and violent and the inhabitants will have to leave. There is no way to completely get rid of it other than moving out of the house it lives in. The Boggart must never be spoken of either or it will relocate itself to the new home.

2Pooka
Pookas are shapeless creatures that take on the form of the homeowner’s pets and will take on the role of being a pet. Overall, they are mostly harmless, but homeowners with these creatures report their pets behaving unusually, not knowing their pet has been replaced with a Pooka.
To get rid of a Pooka, you must ignore it and refrain from reacting to its frightening behavior. They will attempt to get attention by scaring homeowners, and it is important to continue to ignore them and not react.

1Dream Weaver
Dream Weavers are huge spider-like creatures that feed on the dreams of sleeping humans. These creatures cause people to dream of everything being covered in webs. Eventually, Dream Weavers can become powerful enough to make their webs bigger to ensnare children and pets.
Dream Weavers are hard to get rid of. Homeowners who have these creatures must refrain from sleeping to try and starve them off, but this rarely works. These massive spiders will catch people in their webs and induce them into sleeping, so they can continue feeding on their dreams.
