AsEA Sports FC 24promos come and go, fodder cards become an essential part of the menu grinding during the FUTTIES end-of-cycle celebrations. Many Squad Builder Challenges (SBCs) require 85-rated players as the primary base for the variety of challenges.
Whether you’re grinding packs to try your luck at packing some of the best cards in the game, or you’re working toward one of the massively upgraded player SBCs, 85-rated fodder cards will be a huge help. These cheap 85-rated cards are your building blocks to earning the highest-rated players in EA FC 24.

Playerprices are subject to changedue to a variety of factors, causing slight fluctuations in supply and demand.
If one of these players rises in value, check one of the others, as they are all very similar in price.

10Keylor Navas – 5,700 Coins
Keylor Navas' card is a perfect example of how fickle the EA Sports FC 24 Transfer Market can be, as he would have been the cheapest 85-rated card, but rose in price by a few hundred coins.
The EA FC market moves quickly, meaning the cheapest card in Ultimate Team right now might rise in price as the supply dwindles. With so many purchases being made, the cheapest card in the gamedoesn’t tend to stay cheap for long.

While he may soon dip back down in price by a few hundred coins once sales begin to stall at his current price, you can currently save a small number of coins by looking elsewhere.
9Florian Wirtz – 5,600 Coins
Florian Wirtz was amongthe best players at EURO 2024and has received numerous upgrades throughout the year, following Leverkusen’s incredible season. However, you don’t need to knowhow to grind EA FC 24 coinsto afford Wirtz’s gold card, as it’s one of the cheapest available.
Since his other versions are receiving so much attention, this card is likely to remain stable at 5,500 – 5,600 coins, but keep an eye on the supply, as it may quickly become too expensive if the cards dry up.

8Domenico Berardi – 5,600 Coins
Domenico Berardi is the final cheap 85-rated Ultimate Team card priced at 5,600, as this Italian winger provides more use as SBC fodder than anything else this year.
Berardi is a bit ofan unusual card that might see more usage in SBCsdue to his rating and Italian nationality, but barring SBCs like those, he should stay fairly affordable. If not, there are plenty of fish in the Transfer Market sea to pivot to, especially some of the cheap 85s to come.

7Rachel Daly – 5,500 Coins
Speaking of unusual cards,Rachel Daly is a great player to toss into SBCsthat require a certain chemistry threshold, given her commonEnglish link and variety of positions make her easy to use as a gap-filler.
While Daly hasn’t received any special cards to catapult her into the conversation forthe best women in Ultimate Team, she offers plenty of versatility as a fodder card, which is appreciated considering it’s hard to include every player you might like in a starting lineup limited to only 11 spots.

6Kadeisha Buchanan – 5,500 Coins
Kadeisha Buchanan’s somewhatunhelpful link set holds her back from having multiple uses in SBCs,but her rating is all that matters in most cases, not to mention her 5,500 coin price tag.
Aside from the lack of versatility for chemistry-based SBCs, Buchanan is a strong candidate to maintain a similar price, as long as her supply remains consistent. However, this card is prime to be bought out by market manipulators, so keep an eye on the price, and don’t be tricked into paying too much.

5Kailen Sheridan – 5,500 Coins
Kailen Sheridan usually flies under the radar and is a great candidate to buy for 5,500 coins or fewer. Her “buy now” prices are fairly reliable at 5,500, but you can save a few hundred coins bysniping a newly listed card, or by bidding to snag a bargain.
The cheapest 85-rated Ultimate Team cards are still to come, souse the 5,500 coin mark as your maximum search thresholdto ensure you’re always buying the cheapest cards available.

Kailen Sheridan shouldn’t see much usage aside from her rating, so she’s also very likely to remain stable until she becomes the cheapest card in her rating range.
4Becky Sauerbrunn – 5,400 Coins
Becky Sauerbrunn features a fairly good link set, allowing her to fit into teams made primarily of USA-born women, or any American player for that matter. She might be one of the better cheap 85-rated players for chemistry SBCs, but has continued to stay affordable.
Of course, this can all change in a moment, so Sauerbrunn’s price might jump north of the 5,500 coin mark, so she might be worth investing in a few cheap copies, just in case.

If any player rises above 5,600, wait as long as possible before purchasing. They are likely to drop below the 5,500 mark, sostay disciplined if you’re buying these cards in bulk for SBCs.
If you’re buying one or two copies, save time and buy what you need for 100 coins more, it’s not a huge difference.

3Kieran Trippier – 5,400 Coins
Kieran Trippier might take the crown for the best links among the cheapest 85-rated cards in EA FC 24, but this distinction might be enough to lift his price out of the 5,400 coin range.
Trippier can occasionally be sniped at 5,300, so ignore him if his price rises too high – it should come back down.
Luckily, Trippier is such a common pull that he’s unlikely to see any significant jump in price, so he will likely remain among yourtop choices to look for when you need cheap 85-rated fodder cards.
2Khadija Shaw – 5,400 Coins
Khadija Shaw is an incredible player for Manchester City, but her Jamaican heritage is hard to link, making her an excellent, consistent choice to purchase when you need a cheap 85-rated player.
Shaw has remained one of the most common 85-rated players throughout the year, and her inclusion among the cheapest players in her attribute range is likely to remain consistent. Whenever you need a team rating boost,Shaw should be one of the first names you search for.
1Millie Bright – 5,400 Coins
Millie Bright’s links are better than Shaw’s, but Bright is also one of the most common players you can pull, especially from packs with a minimum of 85-rated cards. For some reason, it seems like a guarantee that Bright is going to pop up in packs like that, giving her a huge market supply.
At 5,400 coins, you should be able to find some copies of Bright, but if her supply at that price begins to dwindle, she’s likely only be 100 coins more, which is worth the price for convenience, considering Bright is a mainstay among the cheapest 85-rated Ultimate Team cards.
