Each of these stats opens up a new play style, and HoYoverse is great at capitalizing on these play styles with the release of characters like Yunli.
Yunli is a five-star Physical character following the path of Destruction, and she mostly relies on counter damage for her DPS. If you’re planning to use this character in the endgame content, you’ll need some specific items while building her gear.
Best Yunli Relics And Planar Ornaments

Yunli Relic Stats Priority
Choosing the correct main and sub-stats on your Relics and Planar Ornaments isequally as important as the set bonuses, if not more:
ATK Percent > Energy Regeneration Rate
Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > SPD (optional)
Yunli doesn’t need any SPD since she can getmultiple free attacks just by getting attackedherself.

Yunli’s signature Light Cone fits her kit perfectly as it not only increases her chances of getting attacked, but alsoprovides her with some easy Crit DMG and follow-up DMGbonus.
Something Irreplaceable
You can technically get this five-star Light Cone for free if yousave enough currency after wishing, and itprovides her with some extra ATK and overall DMGwhenever she gets attacked.
It also allows her toheal a little bit when she gets attacked, increasing her sustainability.
The Unreachable Side
While you may’t use this Light Cone’s HP bonus on Yunli, it still fits her kit quite well as itgives her some much-needed Crit Rate while also increasing her DMGupon getting hit, which happens often.
On the Fall of an Aeon
This Light Cone will be the best choice for F2P or low-spending players as it can give her a ton of ATK whilealso increasing her DMG upon a Weakness Break.
The Moles Welcome You
Finally, The Moles Welcome You can be a decent option if you don’t have any of the above choices as itgives you an ATK bonus upon the use of Skill or Ultimate.
Yunli Trace Overview And Priority
Yunli has one of the most basic kits in Honkai: Star Rail, and you caneasily get used to it if you keep a few things in mind:
The damage from the enhanced counter-attack can beincreased both from Ultimate and follow-up DMGbonuses.
While you might see Yunli’s normal counter from the talent trigger a lot more than her enhanced counter,it’s still more important to upgrade her Ultimate first. You can follow this up with her Talent and then her Skill. It’s important to unlock the Bonus Abilities and other stat nodes whenever possible, but you can ignore her Basic Attack completely.
