Coral Islandis an open-world farming simulator that is very similar to Stardew Valley. The story goes that you have been away for quite some time, but you decide it’s time to get away from the city and return to Starlet town on Coral Island. After a voyage, you arrive to your new home, which is on a massive farm that has remained untouched for quite some time.
There is a lot to do and discover in Coral Island, but it can be a little overwhelming at first trying to figure out what to do besides farming. So, here is a list of things you’re able to do in Coral Island besides farming.

Coral Island is still under development as multiple storylines and features are still under development.

Almost all the islanders welcome you back to Starlet Town with open arms, spare the few grumpy and nervous people who will grow to love you eventually. Talking to someone daily and bringing them gifts is a sure way to grow closer to them. All of them have unique personalities and cut scenes for you to discover.
As you grow closer to everyone, perhaps one of the available bachelors or bachelorettes will catch your attention and make you want to pursue a romantic relationship. Eventually, you will have the option to date and then marry them. Alternatively, you’re able to also adopt one of the animals at the pet shelter to keep you company.

7Go Fishing
Spending time fishingis another way to not only spend your time but also to make some money. Nearly every area of water on the island is available to be fished, but you may also pull up some trash. As you fish, you will build your fishing skill, which will unlock cooking recipes, like sushi, and crafting recipes, like fish bait.
You can get a fishing rod after you finish the “Visit the Beach Shack” quest.

You can also help out the community by donating the fish you catch to the museum, which one of the islanders is trying to open up, or to the Lake Temple, which will help heal the island.
6Descend Down The Mines
Take your trusty pickaxe and swordinto the mineswith you because you will be mining ore and fighting enemies. As you endeavor in your search for precious ore, you will encounter enemies. They will also drop items that you’re able to sell, use, donate to the museum, or make an offering to the Lake Temple.
Within the mines are more than just ore and monsters. There are ancient creatures called Giants who are in need of your help. Long ago, they were turned into statues and are waiting to be freed.

5Clean Up The Sea
There had been a massive oil spill near the coast of Coral Island, and it is stated that it has damaged the life that used to live there as well as infect the island. Long tendrils of oil can be seen around the island, which the islanders will comment on and ponder how to cure it.
On the eighth day of spring, you will receive a letter asking you to meet someone at the docks, where you will then receive diving gear.

Fortunately, you will have the opportunity to start diving into the sea off the docks with a little robot companion to join you so you don’t get lost. From here, you will swim around on the sea floor, clearing debris with your scythe to restore solar orbs and remove the oil spill.
4Become A Mermaid
As you clear up the sea and restore the solar orbs, you will eventually reach the Merfolk Kingdom. At first, most of the Merfolk are quite wary of you, but as you help them clean the sea, they will come to trust you.
Eventually, after clearing up the Deep Sea and healing the Coral Tree, Cho Oyu will send you a letter requesting you to meet her. She will then present you with the ingredients to gather for a potion. Once you have everything gathered, you will drink the potion andbecome a mermaid!
