Marvel Rivalsis a fast-paced, team-based PvP shooter game that allows you to assemble your favorite Heroes and Villains,combining their unique abilities and playstyles to unleash devastating Team-Up combosthat can turn the tide of battle and create unexpected gameplay moments. In the game, heroes are divided into three categories: Vanguards, Duelists, and Strategists.
The Vanguard class deals damage and protects their team by focusing on durability and crowd control, while Duelists are the damage dealers with offensive abilities. Strategists, on the other hand, are Marvel Rival’s support characters, but their role goes beyond simply healing teammates. They can debuff enemies, create distractions, and provide buffs to allies, making them a crucial part of any team composition. Here are the best strategist heroes in the game.

8Loki
Ultimate Ability
God of Mischief - Shapeshift into a teammate or rival and gain access to their abilities.

Ragnarok Rebirth - Hela gives Loki bonus health and can resurrect him when killing enemies.
Loki is one of themost powerful yet downright interesting heroes in Marvel Rivals. His kit is a perfect blend of offensive abilities, disruptive tactics, and essential support. By using deception, the god of mischief can project multiple illusions that confuse enemies, cause distractions, teleport, and create openings for his team.
When under pressure,he can get close to his allies, activate the regeneration domain, and use Rune Stones to convert incoming damage into healing for his allies. His ultimate ability allows him to mimic any enemy or ally’s power (including their ultimate) to set up counterattack opportunities. He also deals damage using his auto-attack clones.
7Invisible Woman
Invisible Boundary - Create a field that provides allies healing over time and invisibility to enemies outside. Enemies that pass through the field are slowed.
Mister Fantastic
Fantasti-Force - Mister Fantastic gets continuous bonus health regeneration based on the amount of health lost.
Compared to most other Strategists,the Invisible Woman’s kit offers far more utility and purpose. Her primary fire going through multiple characters meansyou canhit or heal multiple heroes with a single shot if aligned correctly. For retaking objectives, her Psionic Vortex and Force Physics are extremely handy,dealing considerable damage and manipulating enemies' positioning.
What really makes her special, though, is her ultimate ability, Invisible Boundary. Like Luna Snow’s ult, itmakes your teammates nearly invincible, and the fact it also makes them invisibleinvalidates any enemy attacking from a range, since they won’t have any counterplay.
6Luna Snow
Fate of Both Worlds - Creates a circle around Luna that heals or boosts damage to her allies.
Luna Snow is arguably one of the most powerful healers in the game, with the ability to deal large amounts of damage to enemies and heal allies. Her Share the Stage ability allows Luna Snow to concentrate healing on a specific target, making her invaluable for supporting tanks or mobile characters.
She can also freeze enemies for a short duration, which can be crucial for crowd control and can also allow the team to focus fire on an enemy. She also has the Fate of Both Worlds ultimate, which offers her 12 seconds to dance, creating a large AOE to switch between either healing or damage boosting for her team.
5Cloak & Dagger
Eternal Bond - Unleash three dashes that can damage enemies and heal allies.
Moon Knight
Lunar Force - Allows Moon Knight to have a new ability that makes him invisible for a short amount of time.
The duality of Cloak & Dagger might take some getting used to, but they are extremely satisfying to control once you wrap your mind around their alternating abilities. Great at healing allies and damaging foes, these two characters are a perfect balance for anyone who wants to be in the middle of the action while offering support when needed.
You can switch between the two with the press of a button, andboth offer unique takes on similar abilities. Both can throw walls in front of them, but Dagger’s heals her team while Cloak’s blinds opponents and amplifies damage dealt to them. Both characters would be fantastic on their own, but having them share a character slot makes them a force to be reckoned with.
4Rocket Raccoon
Cosmic Yarn Amplifier (C.Y.A.) - Provides a damage boost to any allies in the area.
Rocket Raccoon is asmall yet versatile characterin Marvel Rivals. He carries a Gatling gun that delivers competitive damage output, making him a threat to enemies. His repair mode allows him to shoot healing spheres that bounce off of walls, offering a constant stream of healing to allies, promoting team survivability. This ability to bounce spheres off walls adds flexibility to his healing abilities.
Rocket’s jetpack grants him increased mobility to reposition quickly and avoid enemy fire. He is able to deploy the Battle Rebirth Beacon, a game-changer, providing armor packs and reviving fallen allies, while his ultimate ability boosts ally damage in a larger area.you may also pair him up with Groot to activate a more significant damage reduction buff when he climbs on Groot’s shoulder.
3Mantis
Soul Resurgence - Mantis creates a shield that consistently heals allies and provides a speed boost. Can provide extra health to teammates.
Adam Warlock
Guardian Revival - Adam Warlock can revive Mantis or Star-Lord and give them time to find a safe spot to respawn.
Mantis’primary role is her ability to absorb Life Orbsand use them directly to heal her allies and herself, as well as boosting their damage output on her own, making them more effective in combat. She has the ability to put enemies to sleep for a short duration, which can be used as a valuable crowd control mechanism to disrupt enemy pushes and also set up counterattack opportunities for your team.
Soul Resurgence is her powerful ultimate, which speeds up the movement of her team and provides healing over time. Keep in mind that attacking enemies lets Manti heal more often by regaining a Life Orb.This also applies her Nature’s Favour passive ability to give her an additional movement boost when she is not injured. However, unlike other strategists with direct healing abilities, Mantis can’t fire heals directly at a teammate.
When an ally Mantis puts an enemy to sleep, the effect can be broken if the enemy takes any form of damage.
2Adam Warlock
Karmic Revival - Revives allies with temporary shields and lowered health.
Mantis, Star-Lord
Adam Warlock offers aunique blend of support, control, and even offensive abilities. He excels at dealing additional headshot damage with his Quantum Magic strikes, contributing to the team’s overall DPS. He has a Soul Bond ability that allows him to unite allies together, granting them healing over time and distributing the damage taken among them.
His Avatar of Life stream also provides him with a bouncing stream of healing energy for self-healing and healing nearby allies. Adam’s ultimate Karmic Revival has the ability to revive fallen allies with lower health, offering them a second chance for the team. When he dies, Adam has a Regenerative Cocoon capable of resurrecting him by moving his body to any spot of your choosing.
1Jeff
It’s Jeff! - Can swallow enemies and allies. Damages foes while swallowed, can spit characters out anywhere before a timer runs out.
Jeff the Landshark is a unique,easy-to-play strategist in the gamewith an amphibious nature that adds an interesting dynamic to his gameplay. He deals burst damage by spitting out big balls of water. His Hide and Seek ability enables him to dive into the water and climb walls, providing Jeff with increased mobility and map control. Jeff attacks by unleashing a healing splash that sprays out the heals on the targets.
He also has healing bubbles that provide concentrated healing for a single ally who collects them. For his ultimate ability, Jeff dives into the ground in a similar animation to Venom and gets to gobble up everyone, both allies and enemies, and spit them out when he wants to. This can be used as a good crowd control mechanism, becauseenemies swallowed by Jeff take damage over time and do not have the ability to attack.
