InStar Wars: Unlimited, space units are the fighting cards of their arena. With the right space units in your deck, you may pulverize your opponent with cards to spare. Gideon’s Light Cruiser also has Overwhelm, which allows you to deal excess damage to the opponent’s base. This can be useful early in the game when killing off beefy enemy troops or toward the end to finish your opponent’s base.
9Razor Crest
Razor Crest has four HP and three power, making it a moderately powerful card. However, Razor Crest also sports Restore 2, which heals two damage from your base when the unit attacks. So, it is an ideal mid-gamer for revitalizing your base while dealing some additional damage.
When you play Razor Crest, you can return an upgrade from your discard pile to your hand. This allows you to play an upgrade on an early unit, and fish it back to play on a later unit. Since the Razor Crest can recycle discarded upgrades, it will certainly be a staple card in Mandalorian or upgrade-heavy decks.
8Kylo’s TIE Silencer
The main perk of Kylo’s TIE Silencer is how it synergizes with Kylo Ren, whose ability will discard a card from your hand to buff up a unit. you’re able to then use Kylo Ren’s ability to enhance a unit and play Kylo’s TIE Silencer from the discard pile. Playing cheap space units from your discard pile will help you out-tempo your enemy’s units and wear down their defense.
But, even ignoring the synergy between this card and Kylo Ren, having three power and two HP on a two-cost ship is impressive. It has decent stats and is an effective way to get more attacks with fewer cards.
7Black Sun Starfighter
Black Sun Starfighter is a powerful unit that costs three resources. It has the Sentinel keyword, which acts a shield to protect your non-Sentinel units and base by absorbing the enemy damage. When paired with other abilities, Sentinel can hamper your enemy’s damage output and punish them for attacking your units.
Coupled with high-threat units like the Clan Saxon Gauntlet and Kihraxz Heavy Fighter, Black Sun Starfighter can help wear your enemy’s troops out as units with Overwhelm retaliate and deal excess damage to base.
6Imperial Interceptor
Imperial Interceptor is a Villainy card with three power and two HP. Given that many space units have similar stats, it will easily kill a unit when it enters play, making it an excellent unit for wearing down your opponent’s defense. This also means that Imperial Interceptor will be an absolute stable in aggro decks that focus on barraging enemy troops.
Additionally, when paired with another unit such as Black Sun Starfighter, the Imperial Interceptor can take down beefy roops such as Fett’s Firespray, which is capable of serious base damage.
5Survivors’ Gauntlet
With four power and six HP, Survivors’ Gauntlet is an enemy killing machine. It is powerful enough to wipe out a space unit and sturdy enough to take damage from two. Its Mandalorian trait also makes it eligible for Experience and Shield tokens from units like The Armorer.
Additionally, Survivors’ Gauntlet has a flexible ability that allows you to attach an upgrade to another eligible unit. For instance, it can help you move an upgrade from one of your units to another, creating more value within your deck. Plus, you can also remove an upgrade from an enemy unit to make it an easier target.
4Rhokai Gunship
Rhokai Gunship is anaggression unitand two power and one HP. While we wish they pushed its stats a bit more, Rhokai Gunship has an ability that lets you deal damage to a unit or base. This provides some flexibility to get some damage onto your opponent’s base before their troops take out the unit.
Regardless of the scenario, Rhokai Gunship can help you kill three-HP space vehicles. It can also wear off a Shield token on an enemy unit, allowing you to get maximum damage in with a more hefty unit.
3Concord Dawn Interceptors
Concord Dawn Interceptors is a three-cost space unit with one power and four HP. They have Sentinel, which prevents enemy damage from your base and non-Sentinel units by absorbing the hits. It also gains +2 power while defending, which makes up for its low power and enables it to do more damage during defense.
Additionally, Concord Dawn Interceptors has the same defensive stats as the System Patrol Craft but costs less by one resource, making it a better alternative. It may only have one power for attack, but since you will primarily defend with the unit, its additional combat damage is a plus.
2Unlicensed Headhunter
Unlicensed Headhunter is an aggression space unit with three power and two HP. For two resources, this is a solid unit for killing off space units early in the game. Plus, by having Saboteur, it gets to ignore your enemy’s Sentinel units and bypass their Shields to deal damage.
When exhausted, Unlicensed Headhunter gainsBounty, which can heal five damage from your opponent’s base, which contradicts the aim of play. However, it works flawlessly in an aggro deck alongside units with Overwhelm such as Finalizer and Kihraxz Heavy Fighter.
1Clan Saxon Gauntlet
Clan Saxon Gauntlet is a beast with four power, five HP,andSentinel. Not only can it deal massive damage to your enemy’s troops, but its defensive stats can tank damage for your base and non-Sentinel troops. And, the Clan Saxon Gauntlet’s ability allows you to give an Experience token to a unit.
This means that if your opponent attacks with a five-power unit, you’re able to give the Clan Saxon Gauntlet one power and one HP, boosting its stats to five power and six HP and saving it from the attack. Lastly, if you pair this unit with Gar Saxon, it gains one damage and becomes a 6/6 beast.
