Quick Links
Once you finish the main story and other content inZenless Zone Zero, the rest of your time will mostly be spent trying to build various characters and make them good enough to beat endgame content like the Shiyu Defense. This includes building both main DPS units and supports for them.
However, building supports like Soukaku can be a little more difficult since you not only have to figure out the best gear for them, but also the amount of resources you should spend to be efficient. Thankfully, Soukaku’s kit itself is quite straightforward, making the process a little easier.

The Best Soukaku Build
While you might be able to get Soukaku for free by progressing in the game, you won’t get most of her gear in the same way. This makes it important toknow the best W-Engines and Drive Discsyou can get for her based on the availability on your account:
1

Bashful Demon
Soukaku’s signature W-Engine not only gives her a special skin, butalso some ATK and Ice DMG Bonusfor more overall damage. It also provides some ATK to the entire team whenever she uses her EX Special Attack.
This ATK increase can stack up to four times, which iseasy for Soukaku since her Skill hits multiple times.

2
Slice Of Time
This W-Engine gives you some PEN Ratio while also making iteasier to get Soukaku’s EX Special Attack and the party Ultimate. However, you’ll need a team using a variety of attacks to make full use of this one.
3
Weeping Cradle
While this is an S-tier W-Engine, it’s not the best on Soukaku since she can’t make good use of the DMG bonus. However, you can still use it for ahigh stat stick and extra Energy Regen off-field.
4
[Reverb] Mark I
Finally, this B-tier Engine can do the job just fine if you don’t have any of the above. It increases her ATK whilealso giving the partysome extra Impact, making it easier to stun the enemy.
Synergy With Soukaku
Swing Jazz
you may make full use of this set if you’re building Soukaku as a supportsince she can get extra Energy Regenwhile also increasing the party’s DMG by 15 percent.
Puffer Electro
If you’re planning to use the party Ultimate on Soukaku forsome extra DMG and vortex stacks, you can use this set to increase this damage even more.
2pc Woodpecker Electro
Finally, thebest 2pc to use on her is the Woodpecker Electroset for some extra Crit Rate since Soukaku deals quite a bit of damage.
5
6
Energy Regen > ATK Percent
ATK Percent > Crit Rate/DMG > PEN
Even as a support, you’d want to have a decent Crit Ratio on Soukakusince the various ATK and DMG boosts she getscan let her deal quite a bit of damage.
Best Bangboo For Soukaku
You can have a total of three characters in a team in Zenless Zone Zero, but only one Bangboo. Usually, you have tofigure out the best Bangboo based on your team compositions, but here are the ones that suit Soukaku the most:
Sharkboo/Penguinboo
These are generic Ice team Bangboos that will help youFreeze and Shatter the enemy much fasteras long as you have another Ice unit with Soukaku.
Booressure
This Bangboo is perfect if youwant to get some extra Energy Regenon your team with Soukaku.
Exploreboo
If you’re looking for a general buff in the battleincluding HP regen, shield, and Energy regen, Exploreboo is just the one for you.
Avocaboo
Finally, if you’re having a hard time keeping your characters alive in difficult content, you can also try out the Avocaboo.
Soukaku Skill Overview And Priority
While taking part in the combat of Zenless Zone Zero, it’scrucial to understand exactly what each character does, even support units like Soukaku. While she might have a lot to her kit, the main focus is on the Fly the Flag ability, which can be triggered after a parry, EX Special Skill, Chain Attack, and Ultimate.
Whenever this attack is triggered, it triggers a quick assist to let you switch to the next character. It also gives you an ATK bonus (along with Ice DMG bonus if you have another Ice or Section 6 character on the team) toSoukaku or the character you switch to with a quick assist.
You can gain Vortex stacks from various methods on Soukaku, and when you have three stacks, they’ll beconsumed upon triggering Fly the Flag.
This puts Soukaku in a special Frosted Banner state, giving her buffed basic and dash attacks.
Ideally, you’d want to use Soukaku with another Ice DPS anduse her Fly the Flag to put the buff on the DPS unit. However, you can also use her as a sub-DPS by consistently triggering her Frosted Banner state in the downtime and dealing some damage. With that in mind, here’s the priority for upgrading her Skills:
The basic attack only needs to be upgraded if you’replanning to use Soukaku as a sub-DPSwith her buffed attacks.
