Summary
Along with adding the beautiful Sakurajima island to the game, the Sakurajima update also added a lot of new much-needed unique Pals and skills toPalworld. There are many different types of skills in this game, some exclusive to certain Pals, some that you’re able to obtain by breeding, and some that you can get using Skill Fruits.
It’s difficult to compare many of these skills to each other as some of them are focused on damage-causing, while some add passive boosts to your Pals, but we are going to try our best and rank them, based on how helpful they are in-game.

The Air Blade is a damage-causing skill that sends out blades of air toward its opponents. Although it may not look like the strongest skill from its stats, its very low casting time, as well as the fact that all of its beams cause high damage, can make it one of the strongest in the game if used properly.
This is also one of the more easily obtainable skills within this update and can be acquired through leveling and breeding, as well as through its skill fruits which can be found on Sakurajima Island.

Thunderstorm is one of the strongest new skills in Palworld, purely based on the amount of damage it can cause.The Helzephyr Luxis the only Pal who can obtain this skill directly through leveling, but you can also get it on some other Pals if you find the right Skill Fruits or through breeding.
This is an AOE move that is especially useful against groups of raiders as its high power can easily knock them into the air, which can then be combo’d with other Electric-type moves to cause a lot of damage.
6Steel Guardian
The Steel Guardian is one of the rare partner skills on this list that was added to Palworld with the Sakurajima Update. Belonging to one ofthe best Alpha bosses, Knocklem, this ability is what makes him so strong. As this is a partner skill, it is only exclusive to Knocklem and cannot be added to any other Pals by any means.
This skill enhances the attack and defense skills of Knocklem, which means he can do a lot more damage, while also taking less damage at the same time. This is one of the most overpowered skills in the game and is available as soon as you obtain a Knocklem.

Divine Disaster II is one of the few exclusive skills on this list, which means that it is restricted to a single Pal, which is the Shadowbeak in this case. This is a dark skill that can beobtained on Shadowbeakby leveling it up to level 55.
This skill is great against almost all types of enemies, as it emits rays that can track them down and then do damage to them as well. Shadowbeak is alreadyone of the best Dark Palsin the game, and this skill makes it even better.
4Nocturnal
Nocturnal is a passive skill that was introduced in the Sakurijama update. Each Pal can equip up to four different passives and Nocturnal is a good addition to all Pals with high work-suitabilities as it can practically double their workload in many cases.
This passive works best for Ranch, Mining, andFarming Pals, and as long as you verify to supply them with enough good food, you won’t even have to worry about their sanity levels. Some of the Pals that benefit greatly from this passive skill include Dumud and Jormuntide.
3Infinite Stamina
Another passive ability that can make your life in Palworld a lot easier is Infinite Stamina. This can be found randomly oncertain mountable palsand also has a chance of being passed down by breeding them. What makes this passive so good is that it adds +50 percent stamina to any mountable pals, which lets you travel much farther on them.
If you can get this passive on pals such as Jetragon or Frostallion, then you can easily fly across most of the map without worrying about their stamina levels depleting too much.

Magna Crush is one of the strongest as well as one of the coolest-looking skills in Palworld. It belongs exclusively to the Blazamut Ryu, which isa Dragon-type Pal that was added to the gamewith the Sakurajima Update.
Using this skill lets the Blazamut Ryu fly around with speed in the sky and then deliver a large and strong punch to the ground, which damages everything in its vicinity. A great way to utilize this skill is to use it to dodge strong attacks by flying away, and then countering with your own punch.

One of the strongest Neutral-type attacks to be added with the Sakurajima update is Holy Burst, which creates a huge beam of light that explodes all around its enemies. This skill can only be obtained by breeding and leveling and is not available through any of the Skill Fruits in the game.
What makes this move so overpowered is the amount of damage it can cause, especially against big targets, as well as the fact that it has a relatively short cast time. Getting this skill on Pals such as Yakumo and Selyne can make it very easy to destroy the toughest of bosses.
