Summary

Whether you’re curious about what it’d be like to work at a cafe as a server, cashier, or food preparer, or you simply enjoy the idea of roleplayingwith other players or friendsin a cafe simulation of sorts,Robloxoffers plenty of Experiences that allow you to do either of those things.

Alternatively, you might just be curious about this semi-niche genre and need suggestions on what to play first instead of slogging through a lengthy grid of playable Experiences on the Roblox website. Whatever the case, just remember to keep your customer service smile on when you’re working the front desk.

8Boba Cafe

A Surprisingly Fancy Environment

Boba Cafe creates a modern ambiance through its high-class environment, using thoughtfully placed lighting, plants, colorful signs, and delightful architecture to serve as a hub where players can roleplay as customers or employees. You’ll start off with a little bit of money, but you can’t be a customer forever.

It’s hard to pin down exactly how complex or difficult it is to be a Boba Cafe employee, since everyone learns at their own pace and naturally excels at different things, but it’s complex enough to warrant an in-game cashier training program. Who knows, maybe you could put this on your resume?

7Cozy Cafe Tycoon

Play At Your Own Pace And Stay Cozy

If you’d rather avoid player interaction and run a cafe yourself, Cozy Cafe Tycoon is a great choice. You’ll clean tables, make coffee, take orders, and with the money you’ve made, build up and decorate your business. Eventually, you’ll even be able to hire NPC workers to do tasks for you.

The general gameplay loop allows you to strike a rhythm between all the tasks, but as time goes on, you’ll be able to serve more customers as your cafe grows, so be prepared for that; you wouldn’t want to go into it too overwhelmed.

6Meow Cafe

Finally, An Allergy-Friendly Cat Cafe

Pretty much everyone loves cat cafes, or at least the idea of them, in the case that you’re unfortunately allergic to cute and cuddly felines. Thankfully, Meow Cafe’s digital cats won’t make you itchy or sneeze uncontrollably. Heck, you can even play as a cat if you want.

Otherwise, you can explore the cafe, pool, music stage, various islands, and other attractions while socializing with other players and admiring the cats that playfully run around. If you’re quick enough, you can even scoop a cat into your arms and hold it.

5Luigi’s Cafe & Restaurant

Not To Be Confused With The Green Hat Guy

While you sadly won’t find the Luigi from Super Mario Bros. in this Experience, you will be given the option to roleplay as a chef, server, or customer when you join. As you progress in each role, you’ll unlock items in Restaurant Tycoon 2, which can be accessed through a teleporter near the main building.

The core cafe experience that you’ll dive into in the first area is about what you’d expect from other, similar games that focus on player interaction, but it’s really cool to see this fusion of two games in one, especiallyif you’re a fan of the business-building, tycoon genre.

Tasty Pastries And Pastel-Themed Colors

Pastriez Bakery Cafe throws you into a multi-story cafe decorated with a variety of aesthetic, appealing objects, like trees with pink leaves, bright signs with menu items, and large mock pastries, all tied around a pastel color palette. The creators put a lot of work into the environment, and it shows.

Beyond this, you’ll have access to a variety of emotes, daily tasks, customer and server roles, a sizeable array of foods to pick from, like donuts, muffins, and cake, and a shop where you’re able to buy passes, hearts, particle effects, and nifty nametags.

3Amelia’s Cafe

A Terrifying Twist Within The Cafe Sim Genre

Whoever said horror can’t be a part of the cafe experience? If you like creepy characters or spooky games, Amelia’s Cafe will likely give you the shiver down your spine that you’ve been looking for; don’t let her initially charming demeanor and excellent customer service fool you.

After picking out the food and drink that looks most appealing to you, Amelia will serve your food shockingly fast. After a quick minigame, you’ll pay and try to leave, only to see that the doors are locked. From there, Amelia disappears, and you’ll have to look for a different way out; good luck.
