It can be especially important to consider your team members with attack-type characters like Zhu Yuan, who deals Ether damage. Thankfully, one of her best team compositions consists of two F2P-friendly characters.
Best Zhu Yuan DPS Team
When you look at Zhu Yuan’s kit for the first time, specifically her core skill, you’ll easily understand why this team is the best in slot for her. She gains up to 40 percent DMG bonus when she’s shooting the Enhanced Shotshells, which gets increased by another 40 percent when the target is currently stunned.
Moreover, Zhu Yuan can get an additional30 percent Crit Rate after using her EX Special Skill, Chain Attack, or Ultimateif there’s a Support character or a character from her faction in the team. This makes the perfect place for Nicole to fit in, as she can not only trigger the Crit buff, but also give Zhu Yuan some DEF reduction and Ether DMG.
SinceNicole is the staple for the best Zhu Yuan team, Anby automaticallybecomes the best Stun character to usedue to the shared faction.
While creating this team, it’s important to put Zhu Yuan in the slot right after Nicole since she cantrigger a quick assist with her EX Special Skill and Chain Attack, which can help Zhu Yuan get an Enhanced Shotshell. Finally, the best Bangboo to use alongside this team is either Resonaboo or Devilboo for easier trigger of the Corruption effect.
Anby’s role in this team is to increase the enemy’s Daze bar as fast as possible, so you’d want to use hercore passive that buffs her attacks after every three basic attacks. The team should also focus on parrying every yellow attack from the enemy to build up the Daze meter even faster.
Zhu Yuan Anomaly Team
After using Zhu Yuan even for a bit, you’ll quickly realize that it’squite easy to apply the Corruption effect with her, which isthe Anomaly triggered by Ether. This can not only make the enemy take extra damage over time, but also interrupt their actions if they’re one of the enemies weak to Ether, which you can usually see at the start of battle.
This opens up the way to build anAnomaly team around her with Grace and Rina. If you don’t have these characters, you can also use the combination of Piper and Lucy, though it’ll be a little less effective for a few reasons. This team isn’t centered around Zhu Yuan, but it can still provide her with a few decent buffs.
For example, Rina has the ability to give her PEN Ratiowhenever her puppets are on the field, which is quite easy to trigger.
For this team, you’d want to focus on building the enemy’s Anomaly rather than relying on Zhu Yuan’s damage itself, since you cantrigger the Disorder effect if you apply Corruption and Shock at the same time. Plugboo or Electroboo are the best for this team as they can help you build Shock faster.
