While taking part in the combat system ofHonkai: Star Rail, you can select up to four characters to put together in the same team. The game gives you complete freedom in selecting these characters, but it’s crucial to choose some synergistic units when you’re trying to challenge the endgame like Memory of Chaos.
This is especially true for characters like Yunli, a five-star Destruction Physical unit. You’ll see a stark difference between using Yunli by herself and when you use her alongside a synergistic team that can boost her efficiency.

The Best Yunli Team
If you have all the characters mentioned above, you can simply put them together and get thebest team possible for Yunli with the current character roster. Even with massive buffs, Yunli doesn’t deal a lot of damage since her main focus is on dealing multiple instances of damage in quick succession.
Jade circumvents this lack of damage in each instance as she acts like a sub-DPS on the team. At the start of the battle, you may apply the Debt Collector effect on Yunli with Jade, which will thengive the latter up to three stacks every time Yunli attackswith her counter or Skill. This will helpJade get the eight stacksquite fast.

Jade’s Ultimate is also a great way to get stacks for her follow-up, whichalso buffs the next two follow-ups, increasing the team’s damage even further.
Robin is the best Harmony character to use in this team as she not only fits perfectly in a follow-up-based team, but also applies her buffs to the entire team, which includes both Yunli and Jade. Robinprovides a massive DMG and ATK bonus from her Skill and Ultimate respectively, while also increasing the follow-up Crit DMG with a bonus ability.
Moreover, during her Ultimate, she can deal extra Physical DMG with each attack including all the follow-ups performed by the two DPS units. All of thiscollectively makes your damage to the enemy both frequent and high. Finally, Aventurine is the best sustainer on this team for a few reasons:
While using this team, it’s recommended to put Aventurine right beside Yunli since both these charactershave the highest chance of getting attacked.
If Aventurine gets attacked with an AoE attack in this position, thedamage will also be dealt to Yunli, which will trigger her follow-up.
If you want to use a complete follow-up team here, you can replace Robin with Topaz. This is especially usefulwhen you’re fighting one or two boss enemiessince Topaz’s Skill can give a massive boost to everyone’s follow-up damage to a single enemy.
Yunli F2P Team
Being an F2P or low-spending player doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re able to only use four stars with a character, but an F2P-friendly team usually onlyconsists of four stars since these are the easiest to acquireand get some Eidolons on. For Yunli, the best four-star support comes in the form of a free character called March 7th.
However, you’ll have toprogress quite a bit in the story to unlock her Hunt path for this team. March 7th is essentially an alternative to Jade in this team as their kit functions similarly. She can also apply an effect on Yunli with her skill, which allows her to get stacks from Yunli to trigger her enhanced Basic Attack.
Of course, getting enough stacks to triggerMarch’s attack is going to be much slowerthan Jade’s.
The best part about this combination is that March canprovide a whopping 60 percent Crit DMG to Yunlifor two turns whenever her enhanced basic attack is performed. Unfortunately, you won’t find a decent four-star support for this team who can buff both March and Yunli, so the best option left is Tingyun.
WhileTingyun can’t buff them both, she’s still phenomenal at her job as she can provide Yunli with some ATK, DMG, and Energy Regeneration. The last stat is themost important for her as she can get her enhanced counter more often. Finally, Lynx’s job in this team is to increase Yunli’s chances of getting attacked using her Skill.
