Summary
There’s many different kinds of Paladins inWorld of Warcraft, yet they all believe in the same core tenants: protect the innocent, heal the sick, and avenge the fallen. With their multipurpose specs and wicked-high DPS, Paladins have never been hotter in World of Warcraft. It seems like everyone is rolling up aRetribution Paladinto dominate the DPS charts. But: while they’re besting simulations and dominating raids, are they also dominating the fashion world?
With new Paladins being created every day, there’s too many out there that are filled with the Light’s glory, and utterly devoid of fashion sense. With these sets, not only will any paladin be doing great, they’ll also be looking great.

Serpentshire Cavern
Zangarmarsh
Crystals: not just for hippies anymore. Made from crystals, rocks, and everything nice, this set just glows with pure crystalline energy. This set was practically forged for Draenei Paladins. It perfectly fits the ethereal vibes of everyone’s favorite space goats. Any paladin rocking this set would look perfectly at home in the Exodar as much as they would be fighting demons.
However, this set isn’t just for Draenei. Any Paladin can wear this set, and it’d look just as good on a Zandelari Troll or a Tauren. If a player is in the neighborhood, swing by Serpentshire Cavern and pick up a few pieces of this set. It really rocks.

Location
Obtained through Honor Points
Paladins who would like something a little darker but not too dark will enjoy the Tyrannical Gladiator’s Scaled Armor transmog set. This set serves as an excellent antidote to all the light sets while also not being overtly villainous. Retribution Paladins especially may enjoy the black and red color palette.
The bandages used throughout the outfit really give a sense that this Paladin has fought, and won. Tyrannical Gladiator’s Scaled Armor adds so much character to a player character, and would be perfect for a rugged old Paladin forced to fight another fight. This set is a bit of a pain to farm if only because it has to be purchased with Marks of Honor, but it is worth the hassle.

Battleplate of the Highlord

The Nighthold
Paladins took a bit of a beating in the Legion expansion. Highlord Tirion Fordring died in the opening scenario of Legion, leaving behind scattered orders and disillusioned Paladins just when the world needed them most. It would fall to a player’s Paladin to reunite the various order and organize a defense against the Burning Legion. For those who did, there was no greater reward than the Battleplate of the Highlord.
The Nighthold raid’s set is everything a Paladin set should be. It is filled with glittering gold and arcane runes which showcase the Paladin’s holy power. It also looks great as an armor set, making protection both stylish and functional. The Battleplate of the Highlord is an excellent reward for a battle hard fought, and it serves to protect Paladins in the coming battles.

Vale of Eternal Blossoms
If there’s ever been a set that makes a player feel like a true hero, this would be the one. This set is earned through battling Garrosh Hellscream’s minions. After all, what is a Paladin meant to do if not fight evil and defeat tyrants? Those who crush the True Horde are rewarded with a set that is truly iconic.
The headpiece invokes medieval crusaders with its design, making it feel very real. But the golden wings elevate the look into a design that’s both grounded in reality and pure fantasy. By using cloth for the rest of the outfit, it looks light and flexible. If a player ever needs to slay a tyrant in style, look no further than the Vestments of Winged Triumph.

The Eternal Palace
Nazjatar
Here is another set that isn’t a typical Paladin set, but it plays with the motifs of Paladin transmog to create something really special. The Naga Lord’s Warplate comes from the Eternal Palace raid and, liked all sets from this raid, is nautical and Naga themed. This set gives the impression of a fierce Naga guard of the wicked Queen Azshara.
The headpiece is fitted with a fixed fishy grin, and the eyes glow a fierce red. However, it stays in the realm of the heroic with a rich golden motif which invokes the typical Paladin color palette. If a player’s looking for a fun summer look, or simply wants to LARP as an evil Naga for a while, the Naga Lord’s Warplate will be sure to make a splash.

Ny’alotha, the Waking City, Mythic
Vale of Eternal Blossoms/Uldum
This set is for paladins who are a bit sick of being incorruptable forces of goodness. Sometimes you just want to be a little wicked! And nothing’s more wicked than the Cosmic Aberration’s Plate set. This set as a whole is wonderful, but those looking for a special void flair will want to pick the Mythic version. Made out of black metal, it is accented with void purple.
Eyes stare out from the shoulder pieces, keeping a watchful vigil for any enemies nearby. With theWar Within expansiondrawing ever closer, and the threat of old god Xal’atath increasing by the day, it might just be time to show where a character’s loyalties lie. Dust off this mysterious (and stylish) set from Battle for Azeroth and declare your allegiance to the Black Empire.

Vault of the Incarnates

Thaldraszus
The Virtuous Silver Cataphract is a set for Paladins who want to be rock-solid. While there are traces of the typical Light motif, this set celebrates all things earth. Stone is used in everything from the shoulder pieces to the boots to the helmet, which looks like it was carved from a single piece of rock.
The helmet is especially impressive, as it obscures the face and only shows two pinpricks of light for the eyes. This gives a sense of stern strenght to any Paladin who wears it. The pieces which aren’t carved from stone are stone-coloured, and the recolors of this set keep this theme throughout.

The Vault of the Incarnates’s sets were inspired by the power of the elements. With this set, a Paladin can give the strength of stone to any raid group.
Dragon Soul
Tanaris
This is a set that players can really take off on. It’s truly a set that is for the best, most high-flying Paladins. It’s light, airy, and perfect for even the most flighty of players. This set is lovely. It looks straight out of a classical painting with its use of white and gold.
Accents of sky blue peek through in areas, giving the whole piece a celestial aesthetic. If a player is looking for a set that is both functional and beautiful, look no further than this set. Braving Deathwing’s Spine may be a pain, but it would be well worth it for this work of art.
Throne of Thunder
Isle of Thunder
Pandasare SO in this season. With Pandaria Remix changing the transmog game, there’s never been a hotter time to grab some Pandarian #lewks. And they don’t come hotter than the Battlegear of the Lightning Emperor. How could they? It’s literally infused with lightning!
Pictures really don’t do this set justice. Lightning crackles from the shoulderpads while the helmet pulses with energy. A sharp electric blue palette holds takes things a step further, and it really makes this set pop. At time of writing there is still plenty of time left in Mists of Pandaria Remix, so go ahead an spend some bronze on this outfit. It’s shockingly good.

Blackrock Foundry
Gorgrond
But if Pandas aren’t for everyone, no worries. This set is a return to the classics (athough ironically it came in Warlords of Draenor). The Battlegear of Guiding Light is the Paladin’s Paladin set. It has everything any aspiring hero of the Light could want: gold, crystals, more gold, more crystals, a cool mask, and gold.
Blackrock Foundry is a blast to run on max level characters, and the Battlegear of Guiding Light is well worth a return to Draenor. This set would be an excellent addition to a transmog rotation. After all: when a player looks great, they play great.
