Summary
The Outlaw was added toValoranton June 26, 2025, making it a relatively new weapon, meaning it doesn’t have all that many skins yet. However, the ones available for it are all cool and unique in their own ways, making it worth taking a closer look at them all and pitting them against one another to see which is the best.
While it doesn’t have nearly as many skins as something like the Phantom, what it does have will make any fan of the newly added double-barrel shotgun happy to have it equipped as they blast their opposition out of sight and mind. This powerful weapon has some great skins, so don’t sleep on it just because it’s the new kid on the block!

Updated on July 17, 2025, by Seth Parmer:It’s been a while since we’ve made this list highlighting some of the best Outlaw skins in Valorant. Since then, more skins have been added for the weapon, allowing us to add them into the mix to see where they stand amongst the others!

Deluxe
Simple in its design, the Aperture Outlaw kicks things off with a clean design that looks very good, all things considered, but is just a bit too traditional to move it up the list in any meaningful way. We love the steel and wood and prefer it over the default skin, but it doesn’t ‘wow’ us like some of the others do.
Even with its limited skin count, the Outlaw has a handful of really interesting and cool skins to choose from. We would even say the Aperture is one of those. However, it plays things a bit too safely to be high on the list, placing it firmly at the bottom!

Another example of a skin that isn’t bad by any stretch but doesn’t do enough to rise above the others is the Moon Scout skin, which is more or less what you’d expect when you think of a ‘space-themed skin.’ You’ve got grays, blues, and oranges and a little decal of a spaceship.
Calling it generic is a bit too harsh, as it is a decent-looking skin, but this doesn’t look necessarily unique or remarkable when compared to the others. We love the use of colors, but it seems like a weapon you would find in any other interstellar adventure. Which is fine, but it won’t earn it any extra points!

The Cloudweaver Outlaw follows, which was included in the Defiance: Act 3 Battle Pass, making it one of the more recent skins released for the weapon. And while the rolling orange and red clouds animate nicely in front of a setting sun, the skin lacks that extra ‘oomph’ to have it be placed any higher.
Being part of a Battle Pass, however, means this skin will never be available again, so if you don’t yet have it, you never will. While it didn’t land for us in the grand scheme of things, this skin’s overall color pallet and layout are solid, so it at least deserves a shoutout!

Speaking of Battle Pass exclusive skins for the Outlaw, our next skin is the Aquatica, which was found within the Defiance: Act 2 Battle Pass, making it impossible to get now, as all Battle Pass skins will never be in the rotating market or included in future bundles.
Nonetheless, the deep blues on this weapon contrast nicely with the grays and light blues, and the dolphin swimming through the water is an excellent touch, making this one of our personal favorite skins for the weapon. Even if there is only one variant, it is a solid and wonderful one!
From there, our next skin for the Outlaw is the Prism//Reload skin, which was introduced with the update that brought the weapon into the game, making it its first available skin. Being able to choose between a deep blue, rose pink, or various shades of gold makes this bundle stand out, but it also feels a bit bland overall.
There are no bells and whistles with this bundle. It’s just a big block of metal with a slight gradient that makes the weapon a darker or lighter shade, depending on how you move it around. While cool, it’s not the best premium skin in the game. We want to like it more than we do, but it’sokayto say the least.
A simplistic design overall, the Overlay skin for the Outlaw does just enough to see a high positioning in the list. If it weren’t for the pink variant, it would be a tad bit lower, but there’s no denying it looks incredible, giving it a nice pop while showcasing the sleek design of the weapon.
Variants can make or break a weapon, and if it were just the Green Overlay variant, this would be substantially lower in the ranking. Nonetheless, the Black, Gray, and especially the Pink Overlay variants help elevate it to greater heights. It’s just a shame it will never be available again, due to it being a Battle Pass exclusive!
Premium
Next up is the Ego skin for the Outlaw, which is precisely what we like to see with variants, as all of them are drastically different from one another while keeping the overall aesthetic and theme of the skin intact. What also makes this skin pack hit is all the color schemes are bangers, making all of them worth upgrading to.
From the black, yellow, and gold default to the tan, white, and green one, and even the lovely teal and pink one, there is lots to love with the Ego Outlaw, especially since the length of the weapon allows more real estate for the skin to shine. This is an excellent skin and easily one of the best for the gun!
Exclusive
Similar to the Overlay skin earlier in the list, the RGX 11z Pro makes excellent use of its variants, allowing you to appreciate the sharpness of the weapon’s design while taking in the fantastic variety of colors that mesh well together. If it were only the Gree RGX 11z Pro variant, we’d likely be singing a different tune.
Fortunately, that’s not the case, and the other variants bring it up several tiers. Especially the third and fourth variants, as they do an excellent job of making the design stand out while having splashes of color that draw your attention to the sharp edges of the weapon. It may not be the best variant in the game, but it’s very solid!
Offering a very unique design, the Araxys Outlaw is a welcomed skin that helps make the Outlaw look remarkable, something most other skins fail to do for this weapon. While we love the overall design, the colors used leave a lot to be desired, taking it down a few pegs.
We love the first and third variants, but we feel the others are a bit too much of the same color, as they don’t really offer a distinct backlight as the others do, making them feel underwhelming as a result. We think they would pop much more with a different color for the backlight other than just a plain white light. The deep red light and the bright teal light breathe life into the others, and we’d love to see something similar on the other two!
Holomoku Outlaw is up next and is one of the more recent skins released for the weapon, it features a Deep Sea theme that has caustics illuminating all around the second variant of the skin, making it pop even more so than it already did. While we really adore the weapon’s plain wood-ish finish, the second variant is exceptional all around.
The light blue accents contrast nicely with the dark brown and light tans of the second variant, as the aforementioned caustics make everything stand out that much more. This skin is stunning, especially in motion, making it one of the current best offerings for the Outlaw. While we think having only two variants in a premium bundle is a tad low, what’s offered here is well worth the asking price!
