7M9 Bayonet - Melee Weapon

When it comes to melee weapons, it all depends on your personal choice. You can keep the melee in your arsenal for movement and speed buffs. The M9 bayonet is a good hunter-type knife that can boost your movement speed up to six percent. It also features quite good backstab damage.
Another option for the melee category is the crowbar, which is an extremely fun weapon and provides decent mobility as well. It can give up to four percent movement speed buff and a significant amount ofbackstab damage.

You can also use the RSH 12 revolver, which is a powerful sidearm that is great for PvP mode. It can easily penetrate through armor and can take down an enemy in just a few shots. Another viable option is Python, which has a great DPS and is quite lethal in close range.

In the current meta, Protecta is undoubtedly the best shotgun to use, especially against mutants in PvE mode. Shotguns might not be a good option for PvP; therefore, you should prioritize using them against mutants in the game. It is a great gun for farming mutants, thanks to its higher damage rate.
If you are using Protecta, verify to get your hands on the Scientist armor suit as well to farm infected zones easily.
If you want to buff it up even more, it is highly recommended that you use the incendiary ammo to get in that extra damage. Make sure to level it up as much as you can to make it powerful in mid to late-game.
4PKP - Machine Gun

PKP is a very powerful machine gun, especially for PvP. It has a very high DPS and can easily take out enemies with just a few hits. It can deal a decent amount of damage at close-mid range interactions, which makes it a gun worth grinding for.
It might not be as good as assault rifles, but its firing rate and high magazine capacity make it a fun gun to use. Do keep in mind that the machine guns come witha six percent movement penalty, which can put you in a dangerous situation, especially when you have to flee from certain mutants. It’s also worth noting that although lethal in close-quarter combat, it might not work well in mid-range due to poor handling and low stability.

If you prefer using a sniper rifle, the VSS Vintorez is a great option to use. It is a solid option to have in your weapon arsenal as it can cover long ranges easily. The best part about the sniper rifle is that it has no recoil, and its silent shots are extremely deadly in both PvE and PvP.
Despite the nerf, it is still one of the best sniper rifles in Stalcraft. L96A1 is also a great sniper rifle to use, but it can bequite hard to barter. However, it is great for PvP if you want to take out your enemies quickly.

Compared to other guns available in Stalcraft: X, SMGs might not be a good choice. However, if you still enjoy playing with submachine guns, then the TDI KRISS Vector is a good option to use. Just keep in mind that compared to other weapons, their range is significantly lower.
SMGs are useful only at close ranges and for PvE mode. They are a good option for early to mid-game, but you should definitely consider investing in assault rifles for late-game. However, if SMGs are your style, then with the right attachments and investment, you can create a powerful build for both PvP and PvE modes. You can also go for the FN P90 SMG, which has an optimal DPS and a good firing rate.

Undoubtedly, one of the best guns in Stalcraft is the A545 Assault Rifle, even before the Day X update. It excels, especially in close combat in PvE, thanks to its low recoil rate. It’s a great option for beginners as well and is fairly easy to use. You can also use the rifle against players in duels.
The A545 has decent close-to-mid-range damage and can be very powerful to use against mutants. If you truly want to unlock its potential, make sure to level it up. Another great option in the AR category is the FN F2K Assault Rifle. However, farming it can be quite annoying.
