There are several factions inZenless Zone Zero, and each faction has multiple characters that can be assembled in your squad to fight the Ethereals and explore the Hollows of New Eridu. Each character has a similar set of skills to upgrade, but all are used differently in combat to maximize damage and efficiency.
One such character is Luciana de Montefio – Lucy, for short. As a member of the Sons of Calydon, Lucy is bold and intimidating at first glance. We’ll help you build her into a strong and capable support unit for your squad in Zenless Zone Zero!
Best Lucy Builds
Lucy is a great unit to have, as she’s aSupport character that deals Fire damage. She deals damage off the field with her boars and can provide buffs to the rest of the squad.
Building Lucy requires a different approach than one would have when bulking up a DPS character, but we’ll break it down for you. You’ll want to ensure thatLucy provides support and buffs to the party efficiently.

Kaboom the Cannon
AsLucy’s signature W-Engine, you won’t find a better match. Not only will it boost her energy regen, it will alsoboost the attack of all friendly unitswhen any friendly unit in your squad lands a hit on an enemy. Lucy promotes astrategy of working together with squad members, so ensure to keep moving around.

Reverb - Mark III
Similar to her signature W-Engine, this W-Engineboosts the entire squad’s attack. However, it does not stack, unlike Kaboom the Cannon.

Slice of Time
TheDecibel increase is great for Lucy, as you can use her Ultimate attack more often. While it’s not as effective as the aforementioned W-Engines, the Slice of Time is a great alternative to have.

Roaring Ride
Piper’s signature W-Engine can work well for Lucy, too. Lucy’s main purpose as a support agent is for her touse her EX Special Attack, and Roaring Ride willgenerate random effects as a resultthat will increase attack, Anomaly Proficiency, or Anomaly Buildup.
Synergy With Lucy
Swing Jazz
A four-piece set of Swing Jazz will ensure that Lucy has aboost in her energy regenwhile also providing a damage buff. Focus onlaunching Chain Attacks and Ultimate attacksto maximize the use of this set.
Hormone Punk
As a two-piece set, Hormone Punk cancompliment Lucy’s capabilities and the Swing Jazz set. Hormone Punk specificallyimproves Lucy’s ATK stat, which will impact how much her buffs help the rest of the party.
Shockstar Disco
Shockstar Disco as a two-piece set will compliment Swing Jazz as well, though it will impact Lucy’s boars more. Instead of increasing Lucy’s ATK, Shockstar Disco will help the boarsinflict more Daze to enemies.
Best Bangboo For Lucy
Bangboos are additional allies you can bring into battle. While you canonly bring one at a time, it’s worth upgrading them as often as possible toget the most out of every moment in combat.

Bangvolver
Bangvolver helps to deal a lot of Physical damage to enemies on the field. This is the best Bangboo to bring if you pair Lucy with characters like Piper or Nekomata.
Rocketboo
With Rocketboo, you’ll haveanother ally that deals Fire damageto your enemies. If you add additional Fire characters to your squad, you’ll gain more bonuses in combat from Rocketboo.
Cryboo
Cryboodeals Fire damageas well, and having multiple Fire charactersincreases the Anomaly Buildupwith Bangboo Chain Attacks. If you want things to heat up, Cryboo is a great choice.
Lucy Skill Overview And Priority
One of the most important things you can do isupgrade Lucy’s skillsto better support her allies. Not all skills will be as useful to Lucy as others, butseveral of them are invaluable.
The priority with Lucy is toboost her attack, as theefficiency of her guard boars depends heavily on those two skills. Her Core Skill is worth upgrading as well toearn more passive skillsto make her a superb agent.
