Not only are these characters divided based on their path and combat type, but also their general play style, especially with constant additions to meta mechanics like Break Effect or follow-up attacks.
Released during the second half of the Version 2.3 update, Jade belongs to the latter category, heavily relying on follow-up attacks as her main source of damage. If you want to get value out of this character, you’ll have to build her well.

The Wild-Soaring Valorous
Released in the same update as Jade for the first time, this set works quite well on her as itgives her some extra ATK and Crit Rate on the four-piece.
Moreover, triggering your follow-up increases theDMG of the Ultimate by a whopping 36 percent.
The Ashblazing Grand Duke
If you want to focus on Jade’s follow-up DMG, this set is perfect as it cangive you up to 48 percent ATK and 20 percent DMGto this type of attack.
However, you may only get this ATK bonus to the maximumif you hit multiple enemies with your follow-upand it goes away after the next follow-up.
Genius of Brilliant Stars
Finally, you can also use the regular Quantum Set as it increases her overall Quantum DMG while alsoletting her ignore 20 percent of the enemy’s DEF.

Before Dawn
Apart from some extra Crit DMG, your Skills and Ultimate allow your next follow-up attack to deal 48 percent more DMG, which is quite massive sinceit stacks with the extra multipliers from Jade’s Ultimate.
Eternal Calculus
As long as you consistently hit three or more enemies with your attacks, this F2P five-star Light Coneprovides Jade with some extra ATK and SPD, reducing the pressure on your relics.
The Birth of the Self
With this Light Cone, you can increase your follow-up DMG by up to 96 percent if you have it on Superimposition Five andthe enemies are below 50 percent HP. This gets halved if the enemy HP is higher than 50 percent.
The Day The Cosmos Fell
As long as you attack Quantum weak enemies, this Light Cone can provide you with a whopping40 percent Crit DMG and 24 percent ATK at Superimposition Five, which is easy to get since this one is F2P-friendly.
Jade Traces Overview And Priority
Even if you spend your time building Jade with the recommended gear pieces and Light Cones above, you stillwon’t be able to get much value from her if you don’t understand the kit. Thankfully, this character is quite easy to understand, and here’s what she does:
Jade gets Pawned Asset stacks upon triggering a follow-up, Technique,when a new enemy enters the field, or when Debt Collector gets a turn.
Jade is one of the few units in the game that requires you to upgrade every single trace. you may start with her Talent as this has the multiplier for her follow-up attack and the extra Crit DMG.Follow this up with her Ultimate to gain even more follow-up DMGon the buffed attacks and then the Skill.
Finally, you can upgrade her Basic Attack last andunlock all her Bonus Abilities whenever possible. Once fully upgraded, Jade can easily deal with the hardest enemies in the game if she’s in a good team.
