While some can lead to powerful loot, others are just for laughs or to give players a little extra background information about the character or game.

If you search the Moon carefully, you can find a small rabbit figure with glowing purple eyes hidden at several secret locations that you need to collect. While you can’t interact with it, many players believe it is a nod to the Daito company, a weapons manufacturer set in the Destiny universe. It shows just how much attention to detail Bungie, the developers, put into creating a rich and engaging game world.

Interestingly, the name “Daito” might be inspired by Japanese culture, as “daito” refers to a type of long sword. Once you pick them up at their hidden locations, they will become part of a collection in a room below where you spawn in the Sanctuary area.

While not as hidden as many of the other secrets on this list, thedrifter is an unusual characterin the game who has a habit of performing coin tricks. you may catch him performing tricks while you are standing around or when he introduces a new mission. The tricks are symbolic of the Drifter’s personality, and they are effective at making him seem creepy. It can be fun to see if you can count how many different tricks he does.

You’ll know you’re getting close to the Drifter because the area will be darker and more industrial than the rest of the Tower, signifying that you’re getting into a seedier area.

The Sweeper Bot in Destiny 2 is one of the game’s more charming Easter eggs, providing a bit of humor. you’re able to find it in various locations, but if you’re having trouble, it’s usually around the postmaster. It’s a favorite among many players due to its endless hard work maintaining the Tower.

When you find the sweeper bot, you’ll notice its comical behavior. It will also occasionally drop its broom, which you can pick up and sweep yourself a little for a few seconds.

In the Tower, there is a hidden room that doesn’t contain any loot or collectibles. However, it does contain a number of strange-looking vehicles that it may be possible to ride in the future. There are several large doors in the room, but none of them open.

Finding this hidden room is not difficult, but it does take some skill at jumping. Spawn into the Annex area of the tower and look across from where you are standing to see some steps. Climb them, jump onto an air conditioner vent without leaping to your death, and from there, you should be able to find your way.

6Giant Traveler Ball

The Giant Traveler Ball is similar to The Floor is Lava Challenge in that it’s a great way to spend some time waiting for your friends. The trick with this Easter egg is to move different colored balls to the correct locations to receive a fireworks display.

Do them all, and a giant ball will descend from over the Tower for everyone to enjoy. Completing all the other colors can be quite challenging, especially when many other players might get involved, but it’s worth it at least once.

5Lost Sectors

If you need better loot early in the game, one great way to get it is to look for Lost Sectors. Beating the boss in these areas rewards you with glimmer and sometimes rare and legendary gear, and you can redo them to farm the reward as often as you want.

Look for hidden symbols in the Tower and other social spaces that point towards Lost Sectors and give away the locations of these valuable areas.

The hidden room is underneath the main platform of the Tower, where Guardians gather to meet NPCs, collect bounties, and access various services. Inside the room is a goblet and a book that once belonged to Ana Bray. Scanning the journal reveals a mystery that many believe is a clue about what the next game might be about.

The hidden room requires some parkour jumping, but it’s fairly easy to reach. Turn left as soon as you teleport into the Tower and head to the lower levels to find this Easter egg.

In the Tower, near the main spawn area, you’ll find a piece of equipment with a “Don’t pick me up” prompt. If you go ahead and pick it up anyway, you will beginthe Floor is Lava challenge, giving you a speed and jump boost to access hidden areas.

This Easter egg is easy to find and a lot of fun to play. It’s also a great way to spend some time waiting for your friends to arrive so you can start your next adventure.

The Galaxy Pools is one of the most challenging secrets to find, but it is also one that will leave you with a great sense of accomplishment when you finally reach it. It seems to be one of the areas of the game that was never used, as there is no loot or enemies to fight.

Make your way to this hidden location by searching around the European Deadzone near the dark forest. Reaching the destination requires expert jumping skills and can take many attempts to be successful.

1The Whisper of the Worm Quest

The Whisper of the Worm Quest is a secret mission on Io that leads to the Whisper of the Worm sniper rifle. Themission is hidden and only accessible during specific times. It also features intense combat and platforming that makes finally receiving the weapon even more special.

You can trigger the quest by defeating a Blighted Taken, which randomly spawns in the Lost Oasis area during certain public events. Once you defeat it, a portal will appear that you can use to start the mission.
