Love, Ghostie is a wholesome little game filled with even more wholesome love stories. Every one of the characters in the game can be matched with another, leading to over 50 unique couples. All of them are cute as heck, but some are a little cuter than others. These are the best couples from Love, Ghostie.

10Sky/Felix

Doing Nothing Together

Sky and Felix are very similar. They’re chill, lowkey guys who keep to themselves in the manor. They both like being alone and pizza. That’s a basis for a relationship if we’ve ever heard one.

Their relationship is as calm and relaxed as they are. They play games together, and relish in just being in the other’s company. If they’re together, they can have fun. All they need is some snacks, and a blanket, and they’re in love (Also, this is unrelated but in the Ollin/Felix storyline Felix says he was raised by polar bears? He never seems to tell Sky this but that sure is a fact about Felix.)

9Wobbles/Noir

Wobbles isFallingin Love

This couple is proof opposites attract. Noir is exactly who you’d imagine wouldlive in a haunted house. She’s a literal black sheep who is into high fashion and everything goth. Wobbles is an adorable penguin who falls a lot. What do they have in common?

A lot, as it turns out. Wobbles has a giant crush on Noir, and the feeling is mutual. Their story starts with them already crushing on each other, with Noir just waiting for Wobbles to admit her feelings. Along their storyline Wobbles earns the confidence to admit what Noir already knows, and Noir loves her for it.

8Sky/Chamel

Literally Shipping

Living in a hauntedmansioncan be hard, especially when it comes to getting deliveries. Chamel, the painfully shy cosplay chameleon, knows this all too well. Sky, the quiet polar bear, keeps ignoring the door whenever a delivery comes. Can these two ever work together?

Sky and Chamel’s story is based around them both being quiet. Chamel learns to ask for what they need from Sky, and Sky learns to pay attention to what he’s being told. As it turns out, Sky also hates talking to delivery people and has been waiting for a package. They agree to team up to face their mutual enemy: social anxiety.

By the end of their package quest the two have grown close, and they start a relationship based on communication and trust. What a great delivery!

7Apollo/Gerard

Liking Things Together while Liking Being Together

Gerard is a bit of a gloomy giraffe. He likes emo music, niche TV shows, and harsh critiques. Apollo, on the other hand, is a ball of sunshine. He’s a jock-nerd tiger who loves learning as much as he likes getting in a good work out. That’s about as different as can be, right?

As it turns out, their differences highlight their similarities: Apollo and Gerard both love anime. While Gerard loves very niche, artistic shows, Apollo is into everything. During their arc, Apollo shows Gerard that it’s okay to like something just to like something. They wind up bonding over a guilty pleasure, and their story ends with them watching their favorite show together. What better date can there be?

6BEEP0/Apollo

World’s Best Friend (No Matter What)

BEEP0 is one of a kind. This adorable little robot is searching for life and everything involved with it- including love. Apollo, of course, is a braniac who can lift anything he needs to- including a certain metal cutie.

Apollo and BEEP0 are both characters who want to be their best selves. They find it together, but not without some bumps in the road. Turns out BEEP0 interprets being somebody’s best friend as literally fighting all their other friends to win.

Apollo has to smooth things out, but BEEP0 never loses his ambition to be Apollo’s best friend. But they just channel that energy into being the best partners they can be. They even get celebratory mugs.

5Ollin/Ami

Wait, Ollin was Human?

Ami and Ollin are a cute couple. Ami is a self-sufficient inventor, and Ollin is a spoiled prince. They’re such opposites that they attract. But it isnt his behavior that draws Ami to Ollin initially. It’s the absolutely buckwild lore he drops on her mid-conversation: Ollin was apparently human once.

Ollin was a human prince before being cursed to be in a frog’s body. It’s not made explicit, but there’s a bit of a disability metaphor in Ollin’s backstory. He says he’s spent a lot of time trying to solve what was ‘wrong’ with him, and is sad that he let it rule his life for so long. Now he’s just trying to live his best life as he is.

Ami, as seen with Mina, is a bit of a fixer. She has to learn to accept things as they are, and she learns that with Ollin. He fascinates her, but she also accepts him as he wants to be. That’s love.

4BEEP0/Calathea

Love with Roots

BEEP0 and Calathea just go together. They’re the most ‘non-human’ of this cast, with Calathea being a plant creature and BEEP0 being BEEP0. But nature and technology can live in harmony, and BEEP0 and Calathea’s love story proves it.

This story features some typical misunderstandings. BEEP0 turns a humidifier in Calathea’s room up to 97% and nearly destroys the house. You know. Typical dating woes. But once BEEP0 learns to listen, true love blooms between them.

Their story ends with BEEP0 learning what self-care and customization is, and Calathea decorating him in glitter flowers. BEEP0 literally becomes a plant creature through loving Calathea. Aw!

3Mina/Ami

Smol Girls, Big Love

Mina the Calico may be small, but she has a big personality. She’s outspoken and unafraid to speak her mind. Ami the Hamster is just as bold as Mina. Ami is an inventor who refuses to let her small stature keep her down. When they meet, these self-proclaimed ‘smol’ girls have an instant connection.

It isn’t all easy though. Ami offends Mina by offering her shoes with springs, and Mina reacts very strongly to what she sees as Ami’s attempt to ‘fix’ her. Their make-up scene has them both resolving to listen and communicate better. In the end they both relax in a tree after Mina has gotten stuck up there with the spring shoes.

2Wobbles/Gerard

The True Treasure is Love

Wobbles and Gerard are another one of those couples who don’t seem like they’d get along. Gerard is an edgy emo giraffe and Wobbles is a sweet anxious penguin. But love can be found in the strangest places, and it seems like Wobbles has a thing for Gerard.

Wobbles makes the first move in their relationship. She sets up a treasure hunt for Gerard to play, but in typical Wobbles form she doesn’t give him the clues. But it turns out that gloomy Gerard knows the cheerful Wobbles pretty well. He finds all the missing treasures without fail, and they set up a date to do their own treasure hunt.

This time Wobbles is the one searching, and Gerard will be at her side every step of the way. Maybe love was the real treasure they found along the way.

1Calathea/Chamel

Planting the Seeds of Love

Calathea and Chamel’s love story hits all the tropes any self-respecting romance fan wants to see: fake relationships, growing feelings, silly sweaters. Calathea and Chamel have it all. It turns out that Calathea has a bit of an over-involved mother. She keeps sending Calathea the names and numbers of eligible young people, and Calathea is sick of it.

To get their mother off their back, Calathea suggests that she and Chamel fake a relationship. After all, Chamel’s pretty respectable. But once they start faking, they find out they have a lot in common. By the end of their story they’re together for real…and faking holiday photos for Calathea’s mother. The couple who schemes together stays together.
