There arefive different colorsfor the Monopoly Go sticker packs, each offering a different number of stickers and a better chance at getting rare stickers.Green sticker packs are the most commonsticker packs with pretty common stickers, often offering repeats, whilepurple sticker packs are the rarestand offer your best odds at unlocking new stickers in Monopoly Go.

You may also findgold Monopoly Go stickersin these packs, however slim the odds. Your best bet to earn gold stickers is by opening as many rarer sticker packs as possible and hoping for the best, or trading with a friend. There are whole communities online dedicated to trading stickers in the game, such as on Facebook, Reddit, and Discord.

What Are Swap Packs?

Introduced during the November 2024 Peg-E event, Monopoly Go has added Swap Packs to the list of stickers! These will be hugely helpful for those nearing the end of their albums who are struggling to get the rarer cards they need, sinceonly three, four, and five-star cards appear in Swap Packs.

If you like the first few stickers it shows you, then you’re able to claim them right away after opening your Swap Pack, treating it like a normal sticker pack prize. If not, though, then unlike regular packs where you simply take the doubles and go, you’ve now gota few chances to reshuffle the stickers in the packbefore receiving the stickers shown after the third pull.

This is where the titular Swap comes in, allowing you tochoose one sticker at a time to changeout for a different sticker, which won’t always be of the same rarity as the one you’re trading (five-star stickers don’t always swap for five-star stickers, for example). You canmake up to three attempts at swappingyour stickers in a Swap Pack before the game makes you take the selection you’ve got after the third and final change, whatever they may be.

A good way to go about opening a Swap Pack is to use them tofocus on rarer and gold stickers, since these are the hardest to come by through normal gameplay means. This is a great way to prevent yourself from getting what players refer to as “gold-locked,” where you only have gold stickers left that can’t be traded outside of Sticker Boom events, and even then, it’s only the cards Scopely tells us we can trade.

Now that the packs have been out for a while, we’ve seen them mostly as thetop prizes in longer-term events. They often swap in with other valuable rewards like cosmetics and thousands of free dice rolls, but they’ll almost always bethe grand prize for such events, which means you’ll have your work cut out for you, especially if you’re not often a high roller.

Swap Packs have become fairly common inpartner and team events, which may help or hurt to have other people helping you earn it depending on who your partners are. You may also see them as rewards on the final milestones on the first and second pages of Peg-E events, which don’t require teamwork but do take a bit of pachinko skills to finish.

Finally, they seem to be available as part of thesticker trade-in vault prizes, where you swap your duplicate stickers for new packs. The best prize requires several hundred spare rarity stars to open, but with a Swap Pack and several regular but valuable sticker packs, it may be worth holding out until you’re able to open the top vault before you trade them in.

What Are The Odds Of Getting New Stickers In Each Sticker Pack?

As mentioned above, the rarity of at least one sticker in each Monopoly Go sticker pack is set before you even open it, with rarity guarantees for each color, but past the one guaranteed sticker, all remaining stickers are left to chanceon what they’ll end up being.

Therarity of the remaining stickersin the pack is determined bythe color of the sticker packyou’re opening. You have the best odds for opening more common cards, but each sticker pack in Monopoly Go can technically contain stickers of every rarity, even if the odds are next to zero for pulling them. We’ve gotten gold stickers from green sticker packs before, and we’ve also gotten abundances of one-star rarity stickers from purple sticker packs - it truly is up to chance.

In the table below, you’ll find a full breakdown of the odds of opening different stickers in each sticker pack in Monopoly Go. These are theodds of getting a sticker of that rarity as a remaining stickeroutside the guarantees listed above, which are already decided.

For example, when opening a purple sticker pack in Monopoly Go, you’re guaranteed to receive one five-star sticker, but the odds for what you can expect to receive for the other five stickers in the pack are listed below.

Purple

If you find yourself with a stack of more common stickers, it’s always a good idea to trade with your friends - you scratch their back with one of your extras they don’t have, they’ll do the same for you.
