“So much of Qimir was understanding how to use your body and not just standing there in a suit or being encumbered by a suit,” Headland explained. “We were like, ‘We have to get him in something flowy.’ As soon as I said he didn’t have armour, everyone lost their mind. ‘How can you not have armour?’
“I was like, ‘Why would you wear armour if you’re not going to get hit?’ It’s like the Elden Ring costume.The Elden Bling. When you summon people, you always summon the people that aren’t wearing anything, and it’s like, ‘These people are fu–ing crazy.'”
Headland Even Has Some Advice For Those Struggling With Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtreeis finally here, but players arestruggling,whether it’s because the bosses are just too hard or because they’re not engaging withthe new Scadutree Fragment system. Either way, Headland gave a nugget of advice for those having a hard time in the Land of Shadow.
“You have to go in with that offensive attitude, especially with those bosses. You can’t be getting back and panic rolling,” Headland said. “You have to be aggressive with them. You have to rollintothings.”
We see some of that mindset bleed into Qimir’s fighting style as he ruthlessly presses the attack against his target even with several Jedi on his heels. So, play more like Qimir—aggro aggro aggro—and maybe Messmer won’t be such a pain in the rear.
