Summary
Star Wars Outlawslaunched in early access yesterday to those who purchased theGold Editionor haveUbisoft+. The title arrived to a fairly solid critical reception, scoring a 77 on review aggregation sitesOpencriticandMetacritic, but fans are already suffering from the same faults that reviewers found — namely, the mandatory stealth missions.
These missions, dotted throughout the game, have become a plague for players, to the point where multiple threads on Reddit and dozens ofposts on social mediahave been shared, complaining about the segments.

“The Stealth Sections In This Game Are Trash”
Even though a limited subsection of the game’s early players are likely to be playing the game as of now, given that it’s heavily paywalled, the stealth missions are already a hot topic on the internet.
At least three threads have popped up on theStar WarsOutlaws Subreddit, each with pretty strong titles.
Each of these threads is made up of players who share similar opinions. The missions were regularly called “super-slow”, an “odd design choice”, and, “absolutely awful”, with one player exclaiming that the missions made them “want to die”. They were compared to the stealth missions in Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which were equally as poorly received, where players played as Mary Jane.
The game has been really fun so far, but the mandatory stealth SUCKS
Of course, the players who have been complaining about the stealth segments have been told it’sa skill issue. This is the internet. However, one player was quick to respond to the accusation, saying it’s less of a skill issue and more of an “impatience issue.”
The chatter about these missions has been so much that some players haveconsidered canceling their pre-orders.
In ourofficial review, reviewer Jade King was less disappointed with the stealth, calling it “thoroughly engaging,” although she did add that “the systems could have been more complex.”
