Summary

In my restless dreams, I see an oddly adorable figure of one of the most terrifying monsters ever to haunt gaming. That’s right,Silent Hill 2’svery own Red Pyramid Thing, more commonly known as Pyramid Head thanks to his distinctive headpiece, has gotten his very own Nendoroid from Good Smile Company.

The Red Pyramid Thing Nendoroid comes in at just under four inches in height, taking the monstrousmanifestation of James Sunderland’s tragic guiltand making it so gosh darn cute you almost feel bad for liking it. The fully articulated figure comes with a few accessories, his massive Great Knife and the equally deadly Great Spear, plus a base to help pose him on.

Silent Hill 2 Has Never Looked Cuter

Pyramid Head’s sculptor is Shichibee, who is part of the Matsuda Model group and has plenty of experience creating all sorts of fun and intricate Nendoroids. Shichibee paid a ton of attention to the Red Pyramid Thing’s titular headpiece, making it look just as beaten up and badgered as it does in the games. Meanwhile, the butcher’s smock that he wears is gross and bloodied, but even so, it has an element of cuteness to it with the bloopy blood stains.

Nendoroid Red Pyramid Thing Figure

The Red Pyramid Thing, also known as the Pyramid Head, has long been the most iconic entity from the Silent Hill games, and its making its way back to the Nendoroid world with this rerelease of the adorable little figure.

Amazingly, you may even pose the Red Pyramid Thing in a way that has him impaling himself on his own Great Spear, a scene directly from the Silent Hill 2 game. There are other ways you can pose him of course too, and keep in mind, since he’s a Nendoroid, you can mix and match accessories to give him all sorts silly poses and props.

This isn’t the first time Pyramid Head has been chibi-fied in this way, but with theupcoming remake of Silent Hill 2, now is the perfect time to bring back this amazing figure.

Pyramid Head is going for ¥6,900 on the Japanese website with an expected release date sometime in January 2025, themeanwhile the US store hasit preordering for $41.99 with an estimated release of around the second quarter of 2025.

The remake of Silent Hill 2 is set to release on July 06, 2025, which takes players back to the sleepy and nightmarish town of Silent Hill. The remake by Bloober team might have hada few rough patches at the start, but the game seems to be shaping up to be an excellent remake.
