Over the past few years,Team Fortress 2fans have beendesperately trying to get Valve’s attention. The poor state of the game is incredibly well documented at this point, as it’s notoriously overrun with bots and abusers, making it nearly impossible to play.
Now,Valvehas remembered Team Fortress 2 exists - just not for the reason fans were hoping for. No, instead, it’s been confirmed that Team Fortress 2 characters will be coming toFunko Fusionas DLC - and fans aren’t particularly happy about this.
Team Fortress 2 Is Joining Funko Fusion
For fans of any other series, this wouldn’t exactly be an offensive crossover. Even if the fans weren’t interested in Funko Fusion, they’d probably just shrug and move on. However, amidst the backdrop of the #SaveTF2 movement - which has largely gone ignored by Valve - many see this as, at best, a huge disappointment. At worst, they see it as a slight.

We first reported on the situation with Team Fortress 2 in 2021, and yet fans are still trying to get Valve to fix it.
The most recent campaign from the #SaveTF2 movement saw the gamereach “mostly negative” Steam reviews for the first time ever. At the time of writing, this has plummeted to new depths, now at “overwhelmingly negative”. However, Valve has yet to act, and it doesn’t seem that many are hopeful that the studio will intervene at this point.
In the meantime, at least Valve remembers Team Fortress 2 exists in some capacity. We’ll just have to see if it has any plans to fix the actual game.
